Aza, I've clearly agreed on the point that MSG's actions are questionable and that he seems townish to me and that a whiteknighting of him (now her) doesn't win me a following. But, "push the lynch onto me", you've been mostly absent and followy fluff posting for 2 days. That IS NOT playing pro-town. You have something else to contribute other than, "Hey, I think I'll join the MSG BW"?

Also on rethinking the DP thing, is it fair for us to lynch a player who's dazed and gagged? That seems to have been what scum did with Aden, that is, a very scumish sort of thing to do?

Grit...why are you offering this up but DP is still in your pile of lynchables today? That does not make sense.

I want to read a bit more and especially look at the voting records and MSG's previous posts before responding to those suspicions, since I'm still trying to get a grip on what's already happened in the game.

Actually after kidnapping Ksen in the Darkover game, we (scum) had considered that if we had to do it over again we would have kidnapped one of ourselves.

I am not ruling out that DP is scum, I just don't like lynching someone who is incapable of responding.

Did you find those little display/sort boxes on the bottom, where you can sort each day by author post? There's nothing like a full careful read-through, but those author sort thingies have really been helpful too.

I hate to have a special out at this point. There's a slim possibility that may not have been what MSG meant, but there's no possibility the majority of players are not going to see it as such at this point (town and scum alike). I think it will be helpful for us to see what the sub will decide to say about it, and for us to carefully examine any claim or non-claim made. Still, since it's a sub we're talking about, I'd be happy looking closely at other suspects too, for our lynch today.

I'm inclined to think most of the scum left are vanilla, maybe with a roleblocker.

this is kinda silly because scum are reading this thread and if msg/borealis is not scum, then scum will surely assume what everyone else is thinking. iow scum already know if the out was a scumbluff or a real special shitting it.

msg/borealis has a huge red sign over her that says SPECIAL and msg is the one that put it there. There's 2 ways of clearing this up, either borealis outs or we lynch her. The only possible downside i can see to outing is if msgorealis is in fact vanilla and is trying to act 'specially' to draw the nightkill - ie vanilla meatshield - but that isn't what it looked like to me. What it looked like to me was someone trying to save themselves from the lynch. Now that selfsaving may have been legitimate and pro town, or it may have been scummy as hell and anti town

MSG seems like scum for me. A half out, her voting record, just smells like scum. No point in waiting to see what a sub would do if you ask me. ##vote msg##

The first MSG game post was one with which Irre picked an immediate argument, which looks very contrived (just like her UT vote). Still, MSG's initial vote against Irre put her in the lynch lead for 12 hours of Day 1. Irre and gib were the first to strongly FOS MSG as scummy Day 1, with diva and Mantis doing so a little lighter later. You just trolley-tracked it Day 2 & 3, but OK, I give you credit for the first actual MSG vote.

It's after one am here and I have to be up and out early in the morning. I don't think I'll be back before nightfall. I have two on my scum list and have said I'll not vote them due to the circumstances, but I can't go another day without putting a vote down, so vote MSG it will have to be.
