I'm annihilating the Germans in Total War, but it crashes too frequently - big irritation after I just won a huge battle.
So I stuck good old Morrowind into my Xbawks 360.

I like Ratchet and Clank. I'll have to check out the Furry Quest for Booty. Although the network wasn't up last night. I was hoping to download Spryo 2 Ripto's Rage but could notAnimavore wrote:Here's the free games on offer from Sony.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Played Ratchet & Crank: Quest for Booty. Although fun to play it's piss easy and I finished it in aroung 3 hours.
Luckily I got it free as part of the PSN Welcome Back pack. I would not have been happy if I bought it.

My guitar - 100 watts of overdriven bad fretting driving the neighbours crazy with enough feedback to make The Jesus and Mary Chain blush.
Fucking EPIC.

Playing Little Big Planet. I never would've thought it would be such an awesome game. Narrated by Steven Fry, too

I wanted to play that so much - I'm so annoyed at sony, and at the developers for selling out to them, making it exclusive to playstation.Animavore wrote:Playing Little Big Planet. I never would've thought it would be such an awesome game. Narrated by Steven Fry, too
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Wipeout HD/Fury is awesome online. Competition is fierce. Also when set to the top class the speed is enough to push your face 'round the back of your head.

I assume this is a video game and as such is impossible of "push[ing] your face 'round the back of your head".
Racing games are for Rednecks.. an Pikers apparently.

Re: What are you playing now?
I've been playing Killzone 3 online, a little bit of LittleBigPlanet and Wipeout (got those for free), Super Street Fighter 4 online on the 3DS and some awesome classics released on it as well (e.g. Link's Awakening, Excitebike). Started up Starcraft 2 for the first time in a while as well. Oh, and I completed LA Noire. And the latest Professor Layton as well. I'm about 8 hours in, I think I'm about 75% through judging by the pacing. Oh, and the occasional FIFA 11 online match between playing all the others.
I've been doing a little bit of eating and sleeping and stuff too, from time to time.

Re: What are you playing now?
I'm trying to decide what to in November/December, when pretty much every game I'm excited about is released. Ocarina of Time 3D is out in 5 days, and Luigi's Mansion 2 is out in 2012. The Last Guardian is also out in 2012. But besides from them, all the rest are November-ish. Uncharted 3. Skyrim. Skyward Sword. Battlefield 3. I'm sure my wallet won't be thrilled, but I'm more annoyed about having time. I think I'm going to forget about Skyrim until a few months after it's released so I can enjoy Uncharted etc. I know once I dig into Skyrim, I'll be playing it almost exclusively for about a year.
Damn, and we've got ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection at some point. And a shitload of 3DS games. I need to find a way to be paid for playing games.

Napoleon Total War again.. when I get home from work, well not directly from work, not totally welshed.. that is mostly on weekends.
Much more enjoyable game now that I've patched it and it seems to have stopped crashing immediately after I just won an extremely complex, difficult and crucial battle.
