Well, I don't think we can have people walking about willy-nilly with dangerous macaws, can we? Why, they could be trained to attack innocent people! Crunch them with their terrible beaks! Scratch them with their claws and batter them with their wings!

No, no, it just won't do, the public cannot be trusted with that much power. I'm afraid it's banning for the lot of them.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

What am I saying? Airport? Shit, you can crash airplanes into anything you want! BAN THEM.

Toilet paper. Like Arlo said, you could bend the bars, roll the toilet paper out the window, slide down the roll and have an escape. Can't have that.

People are funny sometimes, when it comes to guns. My girlfriend doesn't like guns, doesn't want to shoot them, doesn't want to touch them, all that jazz. She only accepted me becoming a gun owner because her father gave me one for Christmas, and then it was out of her hands.

Yesterday, we went out to respond to a Craigslist add selling a kegging setup for homebrew. We were about 20 minutes down the interstate when she asked "You are carrying, right?" and patted my pocket to see if I was. Apparently the possibility of a guy on Craigslist being a creep or a thief made it OK for me to be a gun owner in this instance. :dunno:

Two people responding to Craigslist ad to buy a car were robbed in Colorado Springs this week, possibly by the same persons. Of course, the fact that they were meeting the guy in a secluded, wooded area at 11 pm probably ought to have given them a clue...

No surprise to me that someone who lives in Colorado Springs gets conned. :dunno:

It's not surprising you silly fuckers are hung up on guns.
You've been watching moronic films all your lives, where the good guys kill the bad guys and save the weak guys and simple mexican peasants, and end up riding off into the sunset with a beautiful girl.
It's no wonder you're all out of touch with reality.
If you'd been brought up watching films where pathetic nobodies get hold of guns, and shoot the good guys before they even knew they were there, from behind some bins, you might possibly get a glimpse of reality. Of course, reality never went down well in Hollywood.
Talk about living the fuckin dream !!

Clearly you know nothing of armed self-defense or tactical awareness. But just to let you know, nobody who carries a gun regularly thinks it's a panecea or invulnerable armor, it just changes the odds significantly in your favor over not having a gun.

And here's another clue: most people aren't shot from "behind bins" in ambushes.

Since we are on the topic, there are two men who live on the corner of the next block. They have been too friendly and I'm getting a bad vibe. If anything happens to me, it could be them.

I'm not joking.

I used to leave well-shot-up targets lying around my porch, maybe a couple with the best groupings and largest caliber tacked up on the door. Leave the occasional brass on the table or rail, etc... :tea:
