Bili: "ksen: why out now? What advantage do you think this information gives town at this junction?"
Because it would have been anti-town to withhold that information at this point.

contraindications. why not out now, since it was a one-time aibility?Bilirubin wrote:ksen: why out now? What advantage do you think this information gives town at this junction?
I think we have Mantis for sure. and it could be that UT has slipped up, but I would like to see his explanation, first.

IIRC the kills come in after all of the other actions are factored in.oblivion wrote:here is a countervailing thought:
If mantis put in both a block and a kill on me, and ksen switched us? would not mantis be alive today? Lately, role blockers have been doing both the kill and their block sometimes in order to limit scum exposure by watchers or trackers. at least that's how it started.
Re: Starfleet Day 3
She should be. Unless there's a doc who decided to wait until night 2 to protect you. Then that protection would also have transferred to Mantis.oblivion wrote:here is a countervailing thought:

And Chekov is a bold claim. Agreed.oblivion wrote:contraindications. why not out now, since it was a one-time aibility?Bilirubin wrote:ksen: why out now? What advantage do you think this information gives town at this junction?

Just to be clear, that's "yes" on each kill (as least as I've generally followed the games), but "no" on a single scum member doing all the kills.Bilirubin wrote:
You all do have to specify who among scum has to do the hit in your games, right?
Re: Starfleet Day 3
I've used it a lot (as scum ) when a town player had a role we needed not too happen .If it's the seer for example and you know town have a doc but not who then a block and a kill on the Seer makes sure at least they don't get a read if your kill is blocked .oblivion wrote:here is a countervailing thought:

If Mantis is scum, which I think likely, what is to be made of this post?Mantisdreamz wrote:Definitely interesting catch with UT though.
Re: Starfleet Day 3
sort of, but if the other scum team members have special roles and the GM enforces one night action per person then it effectively means one team member does the kills ..If you are the only vanilla on a scum team then you do all the kills as your discovery or loss costs the team less .grit wrote:Just to be clear, that's "yes" on each kill (as least as I've generally followed the games), but "no" on a single scum member doing all the kills.Bilirubin wrote:

Ksen and I played scum recently where we were told He did the kills for the team while he was in the game .

options 1 Mantis knew UT had fucked up and wanted to on the 'BW ' early
2 UT made a mistake and is town ... scum would love this one
both assume Mantis is scum .

Re: Starfleet Day 3
Just went back over yesterday. UT contributed little of substance, and literally went for *pages* (at least 4) not realizing that a god kill occurred and nightfall had happened. That does not speak well for active scumhunting. I still do not have any idea why Feck brought up why lynching irre would clear him, or point more directly at him, or whatever. Inscrutable. Was also reminded of Grits "farewell to Ob" post. These now stand as my top suspects. Irre still does not come off well from yesterday's night chat, especially with the exchange with Ade, but I am suspending my suspicion somewhat since we have better targets in front of us, and because of the (tentative) confirmation of the block. I am assuming the probability that scum would manufacture the role blocking to clear themselves is a low probability.

Re: Starfleet Day 3
If it helps at all, I simply thought yesterday that ob was the obvious choice by scum for a NK, and it was a bit of a hint for a town doc to protect her if that could be attempted.Bilirubin wrote:Just went back over yesterday. Also from last night there were a couple of votes which, of course, were non-votes because it was night. Irre voted Aden, and UT voted Feck. It's that second one I wanted to note for the forming wagons on Mantis and Feck today thus far.
