Hi guys, I just finished catching up.

I'm Chekhov and I switched Oblivion and Mantis last night thinking that scum would try and kill Oblivion last night and hit Mantis instead.

Against my better judgement I'm going to post before properly caffeinated. But let me see if I understand this.

You are claiming that scum (assuming the blocker is scum and not either town or some scum ruse) both blocked Ob and then went for a kill on her as well. The switch between Ob and Mantis then placed the block on Mantis, who was thus prevented from making the kill.

After having read briefly the discussion that took place while I was trying to sleep I have a general question for you all. How often do scum attempt elaborate gambits like creating and reinforcing a mythical role block (but getting specific details wrong) in your games? How often do scum teammates protect each other with these gambits?

I'm claiming I switched Oblivion and Mantis. I have no idea what scum did or didn't do but apparently they at least tried to block Oblivion.

And ftr I've seen scum teams in the past do a block and a kill on the same person if they thought that person had powerz that could harm them before the kill went off or if the kill went awry for some reason.
