Even though it shows me at the bottom of the screen doesn't mean I'm here. I keep multiple tabs open and check in when I'm in between projects.

That said Diva is at the top of my list for the wifom flinging and flailing from yesterday. After that is Irre but that maybe just my negative reaction for her going after me yesterday. And then Mantis has been very quiet and I'd like to hear a lot more from her. Biliruba pings a bit still because of the post he made yesterday where he had people cleared in his mind as "vanilla" town which seemed a bit too specific and suggested a bit of special hunting.

The only people I have down that I trust as town are gib and you.

Ade, feck, and UT I'm not sure about one way or the other.

I like gib's idea about a group of townspeople coalescing into some kind of cabal or whatever.

I do admit to having a bit of frustration this game since it seems that when I'm quiet people think I'm scummy and when I participate people think I'm scummy. I worry about being the Mattshizzle of Rationalia. :scared:

How about some quid pro quo? I would like to know about gib's usual scum game please. Whereas he played a pro town game, two things stand out. One, his unreasonable expectation of answers of people without offering the same in kind to questions posed of him. Two, when push came to shove in the voting in terms of building a bandwagon, he abdicated. That seems out of character from what I had seen up to that point.
i abdicated at like 2am or something after 5 beers, your point?
Hilarious cross post.

My point is that you broke your pattern of play at that point. Faced with a committment, you bailed.
stop being retarded, it was 2am and nightfall was at 5am, of course i broke my 'pattern of play'

interesting.

what behaviors, decisions, or attributes strike you as the asset side of the equation? and what appear to be weaknesses?

there is an appealing personableness to your reply.
Well, I'll tell you. Don't get me wrong, it's very clear you both have been actively townish, with some excellent probes. I very much want to believe you're both town.

gib was effectively scum-hunting out of the gate, and quite instrumental in Denny's demise. But yesterday he was all over Mantis for TR fluff posting while avoiding Ratz play here. He used the same ammo most effectively on Denny. But now he says he's barely noticed her, though he interacted about Mantis quite a bit yesterday.

And you, I like thinking DeanM would use a post restriction for scum as a feint, a false townishness. I found myself puzzling over the Aza/gib mayor stuff from yesterday and the Feck stuff. I liked the ksen/diva scum buddy bit, but then you were wrong on the diva on Denny vote, even after apparently reading it twice. You practically linked to it, but it wasn't there. I finally chalked it up to sleepy West-coast dawn stuff.

Like I said, we're grateful for all the helps, and I've been liking gib as town all game, but I just can't commit, and I think we need to.

affirmativeness. I awakened at 3 am and reviewed the thread. I think I confused azathoth and divagreen, because my false memory was of divagreen voting immediately after my vote. Unfortunately, sleepy westerly dawn stuff was all I could provide before daybreak.

aside for grit: I have a town vibration regarding you, but I found your suspicons last night extremely reactive, and in at least one case totally incorrect.

fact-based cases, rather than emotional reactions to the fallout of an unfortunate mistake are necessary.

with denny i fely i had something objective to work with, and it felt to me like i was leading town on this. I wanted some kind of trustees to triangulate with and somehow after a few beers and some nice weed i found myself choosing between you and irre (already had oblivion working with me by then). Anyway irre managed to convince me we were wrong about denny and i started having doubts about poor old ksen

i'll reread it later when i have more time but that's how i remember it, basically i was a bit pissed at you and irre was kinda being nice to ok so actually typing this out makes me want to vote irre

vote irre

I would like to see how a competing Irre/diva bandwagon develops.

Lol, this is all so funny. Wifom away y'all.

I unvote grit last night (and I was the first) for several reasons. As soon as he made this post:
I don't remember. Whatever the last one was where I did vote counts. Stupid that!
I had a thought, that maybe it had come from the Kingmaker Game (which I am not playing but have been keeping up with) because that is the last game he had kept the vote count in. And sure enough I saw a scum tells (for him) in his exchange with Mantis.

I sent grit a PM on here (and Zigmen you can go ahead and gawdkill me if you want to, I broke a rule, but I felt bad for him and all I did was send a hug emoticon and a note that said, "we'll talk later". It was not a game oriented PM, it was a situational PM). I then went about looking for Zigmen to see if he could jump in there and edit grit's post or do something that could help the situation that could possibly interfere with another game on another site. I didn't see him anywhere online, I got busy with my son, came back and Aza had already busted him out. I unvoted immediately.

That is when Denny came under fire. I must admit that I wavered from my original scum position on him when he said, "I never last long when I am vanilla town". I went back and read through his posts and cross-referenced with when he said that when he was town (I also did some home stuff during this time), I came back and was going to place a vote on him, but I got distracted with Adenosine assessment of Oblivion, responded to that and then I remembered that I had not voted for Denny yet (I was back to my original conviction that he was scum, given his exchanges with bilirubin) saw the time, knew that he was lynched and I just knew that if I had put a vote down a few minutes before nightfall that today we would be talking instead about how my last minute vote looked scummy and not my non vote.

And I did not have a hissy fit about Oblivion being mayor. I just disagree with it.

@ Adenosine

I didn't change my story on that, I figured there was no point in reiterating that I thought it was ridiculous to mayor vote someone with a posting restriction since we disagree on that and instead responded to your claim that it was somehow "safer".

I also added a third point in there, which bilirubin is the only one who picked up on that, but I will save that for another time, but I disagree with him. It isn't relevant to the game, Oblivion is the mayor and what is done is done.

In response to first day list...I have been amazed how when I started keeping them, how often I get at least two out of three. One game I had all 3 picked out on day one. I think that I am going to start trusting that.

Oh and this morning? I was just trying to catch up on what occurred during the night, before I had to go to work. I didn't have time to post.

NIGHTFALL

Diva has been godkilled for violating the NO PM RULE.

I do not show mercy on this type of violation. My past games, where punishments have been required, have shown that I am firm but fair. I open this discussion into the PG thread for anyone who would like to make a case against my fairness as a GM.

That said, I also sent a PM to Grit, speaking for us as a whole. I explained that I knew it was a simple mistake that he made.

And for the flavor buffs:

A bolt of Alterian Lightening has severed Diva's Skull.

Diva was Cmdr. Data, and a Townie.

The living:

01. gib
03. ksen
04. grit
05. Uselesstwit
06. oblivion
07. Feck
08. irretating
09. Adenosine
10. Little Indians! Divagreen
12. Mantisdreamz
13. bilirubin

The Dead:

02. Aza - Mason
10. Little Indians! Divagreen - Town
11. DennyB - Scum

Night moves will be due in 9 hours, by 11 pm EST. Sorry for the shortened night, but it's either that or a 20 hour night.

Night Chat Continues.
