I think I enjoyed his performance in front of the camera when he tried to talk his way out of it even better.
What's his latest excuse? It's not run in the news over here.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Photos of Rep. Anthony Weiner's naked torso have been posted by Andrew Breitbart as the conservative prankster fulfills his promise to humiliate the congressman by slowly posting sexually-tinged pics one by one. Breitbart posted other photos that he claims Weiner sent to a different woman than the one involved in the original Twitter scandal. One clearly shows the congressman's face as he sits on the couch by two sleeping cats; Weiner titled the image "Me and the pussys." But the most incriminating photo is the one above. Breitbart claims it "was allegedly sent to the young woman on Friday, May 20, 2011 via a Yahoo! email address that she claims was an alternate alias for Rep. Weiner." Weiner's face is in a series of MySpace-style shirtless self-portraits, some of them taken in front of an odd mirror with a twig-like frame. "A Google search for the email address Rep. Weiner allegedly used on that occasion," Breitbart writes, "yields an invisible Yahoo! profile with images that appear to be a repository for some of Rep. Weiner’s personal photographs."

For a week, Weiner has been dogged by allegations that he posted on Twitter a photo of his underwear that answered many unasked questions about his anatomy. Radar's Dylan Howard reports that a woman claims the New York congressman sent 200 sexually-explicit messages to her from an old Facebook account he doesn't use anymore. The woman, who is middle-aged and from Nevada, says Weiner told her of his "ridiculous bulge" and inquired whether she might like to see it. She gave Radar and Star a "partially redacted transcript" of some Facebook sexts from March 16. When the woman asked how he was going to send the photo evidence of his bulge, Weiner allegedly responded "It wont go away. and now im taking pics of it. making me harder still." But he "got cold feet" and never sent the image.

As for the sexts, the dirty words have been bleeped out by Radar, offering readers a chance to play dirty Mad Libs. Among the messages supposedly written by Weiner are gems like "You will surely make noise when I take you (censored). I will tell you (censored)" and "I like when you talk about (censored)." The woman also claims she and the congressman had a 30-minute phone sex session--on his office phone line.

Radar says it's confirmed that the messages were sent from the old account that Weiner quit using November 24.

Weiner Comes Clean!
http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/06/06/ ... nment-com/
Weiner said it was a mistake but that he was trying to protect his wife.
:funny:
“Last Friday night I tweeted a photograph of myself that I intended to send as direct message as part of a joke to a woman in seattle. Once I realized I posted it to Twitter, I panicked, I took it down and said that I had been hacked. I then continued with that story to stick to that story which was a hugely regrettable mistake.”

“I am so sorry to have disrupted her life in this way. To be clear, the picture was of me and I sent it. I am deeply sorry for the pain this has caused my wife Huma and our family, and my constituents, my friends, supporters and staff. In addition over the past few years I have engaged in several inappropriate conversations conducted over Twitter, Facebook, email, and occasionally on the phone with women I have met online. I have exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with aobut six women over the last three years. For the most part, these communications took place before my marriage, though some have sadly took place after. To be clear, I have never met any of these women or have had any physical relationships at any time.”

It's our environment and culture. Society is to blame.
But society is comprised of humans. So we cannot shift the blame, convenient as it may be. There is such a thing as personal responsibilty which we all have a moral imperative to adhere to. There is a deeper issue to be addressed here and that is how we just love to engage in this, but as long as we aren't being referenced, then all is fine. Would not the world be a better place without the tabloid press, the paparazzi and reality television ? Of course it would, but in order to make that happen, there is something we would have to alter first and alter to a point so significant as to deem it virtually imposible and that is something called human nature. But I can do it, so why not everyone else ? Beyond a certain age no one should be interested in any of this nonsense. No one. The only reason it exists is because of the profit motive : it sells. And the only reason it sells is because you buy it. Stop buying it and it disappears. But this is as old as the hills. Gossip always has and always will be with us. But should that be a justification for doing nothing ? I try hard to occupy my time doing things which are constructive and positive. Being permanently obsessed with nonsense isn't one of them.
A MIND IS LIKE A PARACHUTE : IT DOES NOT WORK UNLESS IT IS OPEN

I don't care that Weiner sent pictures of his penis to some young woman.

It's a funny story. A US Congressman acting like some dope on the internet, taking pictures of his cock and balls, and talking dirty to different women. Then, when someone asks him if it's him, his first reaction is to lie and obfuscate, and cover his tracks with a false alibi of "hacking." He then decides to tell the truth when he has no alternative, and tries to pretend as if he lied and obfuscated "to protect his wife." Strikes me as funny.
"I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he's got issues just like everybody else," Broussard said. "Everyone's standards are different, but to be elected to Congress and sit there all day on Facebook and chatting?"
- Meagan Broussard - http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/rep-anth ... 605&page=2 That's a fair point, I'd say. Apparently, this guy spent hours a day on his office computer engaged in this stuff, when he should have been working. We pay him $174,000 a year, plus the best benefits anyone can get, plus all sorts of other perks, and privileges.

Nancy Pelosi, apparently, agrees with Meagan's concern: “I am calling for an Ethics Committee investigation to determine whether any official resources were used or any other violation of House rules occurred.” Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/06 ... z1OaNujXQL

Chris Matthews blames Huma:
CHRIS MATTHEWS, MSNBC: "Yeah, but he says his wife knew. He laid it out on her."

JOHN FEEHERY, Republican strategist: "Which is a terrible, terrible mistake."

MATTHEWS: "Well, maybe she's partly responsible if she knew about it?

Responsible for what, exactly?

I don't know. We haven't heard from everyone yet.

Also, if he was doing this from his office, it may run afoul of House Ethics Rules. If he was doing this during work hours and wasting time he should have been using to do his job, it runs afoul of my ethics meter.

Moreover - further questionable behavior my be that he was advising and offering assistance on how to lie and obfuscate:
On June 2, Weiner emailed Lee, "Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice? I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh]."

It's unclear if Weiner's PR team is from his Congressional staff. If so, Weiner could run afoul of House Ethics Rules as well as the law.

Weiner put on a full court press, urging Lee to lie about their relationship. On June 1, he emailed her: "The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it. Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That's it.'"
