That didn't make him our friend, it made him a useful idiot in our cold war with the USSR. But I wouldn't expect you to be able to figure this out.Gawd wrote: "the enemy of your enemy is NOT your friend." is contradictory to the decades of American politics where the the enemy of your enemy *IS* your friend. For instance, in Afghanistan where the Americans supplied and funded the Taliban "resistance" against the Soviet Union. Guess what the "resistance" was? It was American funded "terrorism" and Osama bin Laden was part of it.

Washington's army was a uniformed military backed by the new country that had just declared its independence. Sure it was an insurrection, but comparing them to Al Qaeda is lame at best, just plain dumb at worst. It's hardly a case of apples and oranges. The number one reason why being that, despite what you may call them, Al Qaeda is most certainly not interested in anyone's freedom.Gawdzilla wrote:Waiting to hear Ian's family tree.Gawd wrote:Guess what your forefathers were? Washington had no country, to think so is disingenuous. He was not recognized by Britain, which owned the land. And Vikings are without a doubt terrorists.

You gettin' short of trolling ideas, little man? You sound like you're flailing there. Go get some fresh hate, we'll be here.Gawd wrote:Washington had no country, to think so is disingenuous. He was not recognized by Britain, which owned the land. Washington was a thief and terrorist.

I'm not sure the label "terrorist" really applies to Washington. Insurgent leader, maybe. How much terrorizing did he do? How many British civilians and colonial tories did he target? One shouldn't throw the word terrorist around so freely. Lumping him in with Bin Laden is really lame.
You're pretty much right about the Viking thing though. Those were my family's glory days of pillage and plunder. Hoo-yah.

More than lame, it's disingenuous, despicable, desperate, disgusting, inflammmatory, insulting and flatly wrong. Of course we all know Gawd is just trolling, so we're all having fun jerking his chain because its so much fun to watch the steam come out of his ears when his beloved Mohammad is described correctly as a camel-fucking, grasshopper eating, mother-fucking inbread, microcephalic, ignorant barbarian rag-head.Ian wrote:I'm not sure the label "terrorist" really applies to Washington. How much you want to bet he's looking for an Imam to issue a fatwa right now?

Funny how Ian doesn't have a single problem with your hate filled speeches that in the past has included calling for the deaths of all Muslims yet he has a problem with me calling out how vengeful he is and that he has fallen into the trap of thinking America can do no wrong.Seth wrote:More than lame, it's disingenuous, despicable, desperate, disgusting, inflammmatory, insulting and flatly wrong. Now you're idiotically conflating me with America. I'm just one guy who is needling a Netwit for my personal enjoyment. I don't represent America, nor does Ian. But your quick to condemn America based on the actions of one man who is annoying you for sport. That's precisely the sort of intolerance that's typical of Islamic extremists, who cannot tolerate any insult to their fucked-up "prophet" and his utterly evil ideology.Gawd wrote:Funny how Ian doesn't have a single problem with your hate filled speeches that in the past has included calling for the deaths of all Muslims yet he has a problem with me calling out how vengeful he is and that he has fallen into the trap of thinking America can do no wrong.Seth wrote:More than lame, it's disingenuous, despicable, desperate, disgusting, inflammmatory, insulting and flatly wrong. By all means, join the party. Just a good old-fashioned political scrum. A few bloody noses, a cracked rib or two, but everybody goes to the pub for a wet one at the end I imagine.Crumple wrote:Is this a cage fight or can anyone join in?
