Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Revenge FoS? Nope. FoS because you seem unable to make a rationale that is not based on bogus rationale, yes. As I said, go away and fix your logic fail first.
Oh, and are you running interference for mantis right now, because you know I'll scrap with you as a result of your logic fail?

okay.Gonzo wrote: I was trying to be clear without being explicit of how I thought Mantis would answer. I'm trying to be useful and ask questions and clear up misunderstandings. I'm a townie, god damn it, I want the town to succeed.
I had no additional information.Gonzo wrote: If Mantis said 1) Yes, I had additional information. That would have meant one of two things: she is a Town Bomb or she's on the scum team. Answering 'Yes' would have explained WHY Mantis picked up on Diva the way she had.
Indeed, I did say No. But I did NOT pick up on any hint. I told you I DID NOT know that she was a bomb. So there was no hint for me to pick up on. If you noticed, it was within the last 2 minutes that all this happened. I was having a sideline discussion with Adenosine about Denny voting Gonzo. In the meantime I was cross posting with several posts, and saw Diva's post that said get your vote off me NOW. That's how I read it. I didn't have time to think about whether or not she was a bomb, just whether or not we were making a mistake by lynching her. Actually, I didn't even know there was a bomb in the game to begin with, let alone possibly several.Gonzo wrote: If Mantis said 2) No, I had no additional ionformation as she has, it means there is no real admission by Mantis that she had reason to pick up on the supposed 'hint' dropped by Diva that she was a 'Bomb'. Instead Mantis says it was 'because I know her well', which doesn't seem cover her saying she picked up on a hint.
It's called mafia and getting reads/feels for people.Gonzo wrote: So Mantis is vanilla town and took Diva for her word (for know apparent reason) or she is scum and know there are Town Bombs throughout the game - having to figure out who they are.

Mantis I'd love to hear your list of suspects.
Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
So nothing twigged when she said that I should leave my vote on her because she doesn't know me? And you still read that as her saying that we were making a mistake lynching her. How much history do you have to have with someone to take your vote off them because they say so?Mantisdreamz wrote:okay.Gonzo wrote: I was trying to be clear without being explicit of how I thought Mantis would answer. ^Adenosine, I cross posted with her and others. and it was one minute until end game. I see now what she meant by that was that she wasn't sure if you were town or scum (no read).

Sure, let me get a tea - and go through the 1st day again.irretating wrote:Mantis I'd love to hear your list of suspects.
But off the bat, ksen, Zigmen, possibly yourself. Athene and Gonzo look town.

But she got enough of a read on you to decide you were town.Mantisdreamz wrote:^Adenosine, I cross posted with her and others. and it was one minute until end game. I see now what she meant by that was that she wasn't sure if you were town or scum (no read).

I don't think that is my question to be answered.Adenosine wrote:But she got enough of a read on you to decide you were town.Mantisdreamz wrote:^Adenosine, I cross posted with her and others. and it was one minute until end game. How come no mention of Denny, given you changed your vote to him in the last few minutes?Mantisdreamz wrote:Sure, let me get a tea - and go through the 1st day again.irretating wrote:Mantis I'd love to hear your list of suspects.

And what is your read on adenosine?

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Yea, I thought Denny voted Gonzo and later used the reasoning that it was the self vote that caused him to vote Gonzo. On reread - it looks a bit different. Denny actually votes Gonzo, sees his self vote, then says that because of it, his vote will stay placed on Gonzo. It's a bit of a different scenario than what I thought it was.irretating wrote:How come no mention of Denny, given you changed your vote to him in the last few minutes?Mantisdreamz wrote:Sure, let me get a tea - and go through the 1st day again.irretating wrote:Mantis I'd love to hear your list of suspects.

Just a note on the self vote -- why are people so concerned about it?? (more in a general questioning sense).
What I find kind of strange is, on page 2 here - Gonzo says:
And then later on writes a rather large fos post on me, stating that I must be scum and know that Diva was the bomb. So, it's a bit of a contradiction. Still reading the rest of today, now that I'm settled.Gonzo wrote:Say, if Diva knew she was a Bomb - and the scum ALSO knew she was a Bomb - who would it benefit and why?
It's a trick question, also rhetorical, so don't bother. See? Scum can't know who the Bombs are.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
the contradiction lies here:
So now he has accepted that scum must have information about bombs? So if I answered yes - by his conclusion, I'd either be a town bomb myself or scum. This doesn't even make sense. Then again, maybe town bombs know each other? Praying did not vote for Diva. But why on earth would scum know or have to find who the town bombs are?
I'm not sure about Adenosine. It's hard to see past this skewed logic of what I see as people possibly twisting things around to make it as if I knew something. It's really not that complicated.
on page 4.Gonzo wrote: If Mantis said 1) Yes, I had additional information. That would have meant one of two things: she is a Town Bomb or she's on the scum team. Answering 'Yes' would have explained WHY Mantis picked up on Diva the way she had.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Also, Irre - I voted for you because you were switching your votes around. First Adenosine for voting Gonzo mayor, then Diva for stating a "gambler's fallacy". When we all know, this gambler's fallacy tends to crop up with some newer players. You hadn't shown yourself on the thread for awhile, then came back to post a semi angry post on how this would be the 1st time lynched as a townie, in which I unvoted and stated that I was not necessarily happy with a diva or you lynch that day. I don't see how my not posting a reason for my vote is a big deal.

OK, so I'll take that as you realising your logic fail but keeping your vote on me anyway.Zigmen wrote:Bedtime.

Mantis is sounding pretty reasonable, unlike you. I'm going to review the day 1 posts of yours, and then decide where to put my vote. I guess what we can surmise is that you and ksen are not both scum. But I'm putting money on one of you being scum. Both of you are not appearing to really read the threads.
