^ Oh, and diva's 'who has not posted yet' is another scum tell, putting out the FoS on me without an actual vote, then a 'hey what's over there I don't want to be seen to be driving the irre bandwagon because I know she's going to flip town'.

What do you think about Gonzo and Zigmen?

What do you think about ksen?
I've said about gonzo. Zigmen, he was pinging, but he's been drowned out by athene, diva and gonzo.

Ksen: meh. No read either way.

What exactly is setting off your scumdar about Irre, Mantis?

She is setting mine off too.

Who has not posted yet. I know Praying hasn't.
LOL I find it hilarious that Diva finds me pinging (which happened to coincide with her uber defensiveness about being voted by me... revenge much, Diva?). And to say I had an off game in the timebomb game when in fact I was doing fine until Diva let slip scum knowledge and it was my trying to cover that up (by agreeing with MZ) that got me caught.

Oblivion if you are town, you are being played by Athene. Athene seems very scummy, she starts the 'what do you and you and you etc think of irre' without expressing any opinion, and voting for someone else, and then when her fishing gets a few bites - thinking of oblivion here although mantis' vote seems odd too - she then declares she knows my town and scum game. She doesn't know enough of my game to make that call IMO, because I play differently at TR due to the culture there. I don't know enough of game to use a meta on her, but she is acting scummy.

The reason I voted gonzo was because he was pinging, due to coming in with a 'does this post belong here' and then a 'yeah, zig, why athene'. Not adding anything to the game, trying to be seen to blend in and scum hunt. His suck-up post about being intimidated by oblivion just doesn't gel for me either, so he is high on my scum list.

As for diva, if you all are still falling for the 'oh woe is me I'm a n00b and a scum magnet' then you are underestimating her. That she has blatantly gone for the revenge FoS and also making out my game to be flakey (she has seen me in precisely two ratz games; ratskept ones don't count as I play differently there due to the clues and most people not knowing how to actually play mafia on there), seems pretty damning to me, but I am offsetting that with the knowledge that she does get pretty defensive. Her reaction to my vote has been a massive overreaction, and that is called flail.

My votes have not been bizarro. But reading up on a number of pages while I've been asleep, has been most instructive.
it's interesting to me that Athene hasn't (yet) started our usual feint-and-test thing. She did this in the TR game that just ended in an extremely perfunctory, set-piece way. she was trying to draw my attention and get me to lead a bandwagon on her. She did get my attention, but it looked too artificial to bite down on. She was part of a jester team with deanm.

So, I can see where if she's town she might not want to go there, and if she's scum she might not want to go there. Or maybe she's waiting for me to make the first move.

The asking people about others, it's seems to have become all the rage among people I play with lately.

Ok. roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes until nightfall. the mayor slot is up in the air because right now it will come down to a random roll.

Irre's posts since coming online today are more what I expect from her, though it's a little odd that she's appealing to me "if you are town" rather than hammering on my illogic or my posting style or something. I dunno.

I'm kinda feeling a FoS Feck coming on. and I agree with some of what Irre has to say about diva, though I disagreed regarding the scummyness of a gamblers fallacy "tell". it sounds like you guys are pretty entangled in a bit of grudge from the recent ratskeps game, so I'm wondering how objective you are.

The asking about others can be (and is) fishing for support for a lynch vote. I know you ask about others, but you already have your opinion at hand.

Anyhow. I know I haven't acted scummy and this could well be the first time I am lynched as a townie, so it would be the most instructive day 1 lynch in memory. Mantis put a vote on me, without making a case, and after Athene went fishing (I mean, look how many times she asked) before athene laid out her lame case. So yes, a big question mark over mantis, this is not her normal game.

I'm going out, not sure when Aza is ending this round but I may well not be back.

oblivion, there is no grudge. That's what's weird about diva. It was a funny game design, and diva did not kill me, nor did I kill her. It's a BS attempt to make out my vote on her is anything but because I think she's scum.

As for appealing to you "if you are town" it's because if you're not town you're not being played. I thought that would be obvious.

Oh, and I crossposted with Mantis' post hoc questioning of me. So it made my post even more instructive.

I know you better than Gonzo - I'm not sure if Gonzo will be around as much as needed.

Mantis, what is your take re diva's grudge explanation for Irre's voting her?

Irre's vote on diva rings false as something scum would do, unless she's hunting for an alternative wagon due to both gonzo and zigmen being scum.

that would be a trip.

Oh, please...I am not driving the "Irre bandwagon"...it is quite the opposite. You are working mighty hard to drive one on me! I was not the first to FOS you, I figured you were telling the truth when you said that you had Cookie's game was intense for you and did not FOS you until jumped all over my case.
And to say I had an off game in the timebomb game when in fact I was doing fine until Diva let slip scum knowledge and it was my trying to cover that up (by agreeing with MZ) that got me caught.
Really, Irre?

http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=25414

You were trying to cover for me how exactly? By saying my post "confused you"?

It appears to me that you are trying to assign traits to yourself that you did not actually exhibit and then blaming me for your own obvious scum tells. The only one who keeps bringing up my obvious mistake-and it was a mistake- is you. Obviously it bothers you although no one else seems to care about it all that much.
As for diva, if you all are still falling for the 'oh woe is me I'm a n00b and a scum magnet' then you are underestimating her.
I never said "oh woe is me, I am a scum magnet" I said that "I maintain that I am a scum magnet" and the truth is it works for me quite well, because then I know who the scum are.

But you know who ELSE said that I said, "oh woe is me, I am a scum magnet"?

Adenosine:

Oblivion for not reading the thread properly.

divagreen for the self-deprecating "Woe is me, poor scum magnet that I am."

ksen just throwing votes around without explanations.
Now where have I seen you vote for one of your scum mates and then change it later to an innocent before? :ask:
That she has blatantly gone for the revenge FoS and also making out my game to be flakey (she has seen me in precisely two ratz games; ratskept ones don't count as I play differently there due to the clues and most people not knowing how to actually play mafia on there), seems pretty damning to me, but I am offsetting that with the knowledge that she does get pretty defensive. Her reaction to my vote has been a massive overreaction, and that is called flail.
Then I guess that I have NO IDEA how to play Mafia Wars since that is where I learned to play (although I have since learned and am continuing to learn here).

I have already stated that I am happy to be viewed, in fact I encourage it, since I know that I am innocent. But if anybody else really thinks that I am scum and they are town then I suggest that everyone remove their lynch votes from all other players and let Irre's vote for me stand alone...I will be lynched by her vote, so what have you got to lose? (Except a town player.)
Currently suffers from Cassandra's curse.
