A phrase coined by the Woo peddlers, the idea being to divide and conquer - by claiming there are "good" atheists and "bad" atheists.

Good atheists are those happy to discuss the Bible and or the meaning of life (and who probably think that is fighting religion - or don't consider it neccessary). Bad atheists are those who point out that the Emperor has no clothes - and delight in pointing it out......and have understood that following "reason" does not mean having to be reasonable.

The term was supposedly coined by Jerry Coyne (it was Coyne coined) on his blog as a mockery of the meaningless "New Atheist" label that is often applied to atheists who are willing to say they're atheists. The term has been heavily used by PZ Myers and others.
Who needs a signature anyway?
