I live over 3000 miles from your stupid fucking piddling country and I can't get away from the "news" about this total waste of time non-event.

Brits, have a fucking word with your powers that be and let them know, "no one fucking gives a shit".

They have fucking TV shows starting at 3am Eastern Time to cover the fucking thing. It means I cannot put my TV on all day.

I think they are too embarrassed to make too much of it all here. Celebrating what is after all privilege and all that goes with it at a time when people are losing their jobs in thousands and real living standards are falling might be just the right fuse to set off what is already a simmering population.
