It's really crap here. There's a far better forum called Rational Skepticism. It's run by a lovely lady from Australia. Ask Pappa about her. They're great friends.

Staff member at TAF mentioned this place. I checked it out, and I'm not sure it's a right place for me, but I'll give it a shot. There's a cliquishness that doesn't feel very welcoming, and on the other hand a couple of prodigious dicks who have yet to learn how to disagree without being disagreeable -- just like any other forum, I should add.

Do you mean the inside jokes and wotnot? I've noticed that I have that feeling anytime I hang out in a 'new' forum. The people there already know each other and often don't give the impression that they care whether you stay or not. Except here. I got a welcome thread as soon as I got here, though.
