Would you rather 'plucked like a daisy' or 'sunk like a battleship'?
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

we have 14 lynch votes in total today.

And we have 3 specials outed, only one of which is a power special. all three are unarmed at this time. And we think that there is a vig and some sort of town point manipulator in the game, and are hoping there is a seer.

I go back and forth between feeling like town is boned and feeling like we have a decent chance at winning this game.

The unarmed player that I feel most strongly is town is praying. somewhere after her are UT and diva.

the others - MZ, Gonzo (if he's telling the truth about not being armed until he hits 10), and mantis, all still worry me. And Feck - he's a huge question mark.

To arm:

MZ - 2
Gonzo - 2
mantis - 1
AZA - 2

plus perhaps points to pile on to players who got all/most of their points at night, and hence we can't entirely trust that they are armed:

me
Charlou
Gib
Fuzzy

And give Bolero one more point just as insurance.

Of course, at least 3 and probably 4 of those lynch votes are in scum hands, so town is not in a commanding position, but maybe there's more info to shake out of the threads?

Maybe we can put this off until tomorrow, but I think we need to consider it in our lynch decisions today.

Make sure of AZA and Mantis today? Who else?

vote mantis

I am most suspicious of her and irre (for contradictiong herself about Feck's supposed code), but since the latter is already armed I will go with the first.

meh. 14. Unless Aza shows up out of the blue, his vote won't be cast.

If scum could have a bullet proof vest too, would it be prudent to add votes the people who are already armed? It would be easy for them to just start lying low after being brought up to 6 points and surprise us at the end.

call me the town paranoid person

I don't like that charlou is not above 7 points if that is the kill switch for specials
I don't like mz's claim, it's out there in terms of counter claims and the same goes for gonzo. Those roles, also to me, don't seem to be particularly helpful to town. Scum as we know don't have to kill all of us just enough of us. I would think that if town was going to be over loaded with specials (doc, vig, point adjuster, bomb, bullet proof vest) they would be power specials to counter the no reveal aspect

Yeah, piling it on players who are supposedly armed but who don't look fully involved is a good idea.

I don't know what our seer (if there is one) has on players, whether they are already armed or not, but that info could be critical to getting the right players loaded with more points, or not wasting points on the wrong players.

And, I think whatever other info our specials have about what has been going on at night could also be critical. Today or tomorrow is do or die. Hopefully we can use today wisely and make tomorrow a simple case of mopping up.

I think we can win this, but we need every scrap of information we can get our hands on to do it.

Except for who Charlou protected last night.

vote MZ his role claim is bogus. As is gonzos. And fecks.

Re UT being town. I am not claiming a special role. I just know he is town. I cannot say why.

I'm off to ride a monorail. I'll try not to worry about you all too much.

My role pm at least does not indicate a second bomb for scum. It was only the hit on Ob that made me think there was.
I have a thought about Aza.
Now we have the spectre of needing 10 points to arm scum, we cannot assume that Aza doesn;t have it.
Why don;t we just leave him out of the reckoning. If scum win because of Aza, I think zigmen will have some questions to answer.
Let's forget Aza and let zigmen ensure that he doesn't become a factor.
If I were scum and Aza were scum I'd be asking zigmen to ensure likewise.

This is how I think detonation day is going to work.

When scum figure out which town players go with which code words, they are able to set off the vests. Once they have that figured out, if town who are not armed outnumber them, they will wait.

They probably started with a list of words, maybe with some bogus words to weed out, so that the first few piles of code letters don't give it away.

that is probably why some of the night points don't make ordinary mafia sense.
