I think I have figured out something about town code words. maybe about all code words.

but I'm not sure it's helpful to town.

It's interesting, though.

And it at least ties Marine into the picture. I think.

If I am right, it would be better if UT doesn't say how many points he got yesterday.

I think you are nuts for outing yourself the way you did, MZ. I can't help but wonder if you are making it all up. It would seem to me that if you were like some version of a suicide bomber you would want to keep quiet about it and draw scum to to you.

And Praying has neither a vote nor a hit...interesting.

so, you want us to withhold info, does that mean that we need to protect codewords at all costs? What does this mean about char outing hers? And yes MZ I guarantee that there will be discussion about how you played the bomb this game. We do need to know if anyone was blocked last night. Even though feck's game is annoying me, I do agree we can't leave aza unarmed.

I wouldn't have made the potential connection with my own code word if I hadn't seen charlou's so I can't really regret her posting that. And I'm hoping that any other town player can put the same pieces of puzzle together between her code word and their own and see a connection. Something praying said in the game also helped.

So I think praying is town. If she were scum, I don't think she would have made the post. And and everyone can fuck off asking me what she posted, btw.

If we can afford to arm another potential town, I think we have to arm MZ via vote today. He's a huge question mark.

I have not read through the thread yet, so I am not ready to vote.
in the nightfall post, zigmen said the mild punishment or w/e had already been levied. I have no idea what that means, but it suggests that anything that happened last night was not related to your edited post.
Zigman refused to comment on what punishment I would receive, so I am still curious how it has played into the gameplay, but it's seems more likely the increase was from scum considering my role and the information I've received via 'phonecalls'.

I might as well claim now as I think I was clued into the fact that I was viewed by the scum or somehow brought to their attention specifically.

I am the town's Bullet Proof Vest my vest isn't armed until the 10th point.

According to flavor in my Night 2 PM, the bank robbers noticed that the 'bullet proof vests (yes, plural) from the get-away-car' were missing from the 'cache' brought to the heist and that they waere somehow switched in with the rest which were given to the hostages. Apparently they are special vests made especially for the scum team but because of the 'smeared chalk' that each was labeled with - one (or more) was confusedly misplaced. So either there is another townie with one, or the scum have the other.

I otherwise would not have claimed at all, but in the night two PM the bank robbers were arguing with someone named 'Sid' and it was revealed that there might be away for the scum to distinguish which vest is which.

I think my extra points are due to the scum having investigated me.

I am sorry to claim this early, but I hope it helps put things in perspective better. In part I thought MZ's accusing me lying about my point value was because he was aware of the Bullet Proof Vest role and needed to verify it somehow - hence edging to see whether I would claim 'ARMED' or not. I believe MZ has told the truth about his role.

I am not sure, especially if we can't count on the night action self-reports.

I'm going to try a few games of hangman, I think.

and are you telling me you can't do math? It would take three scum night actions to arm you and it never occurred to you to use that ability for town? Jesus, wtf is up with our specials this game? That's assuming that gonzo and mz are actually specials because they've both outed when it would be least friggin helpful to town.

From my point of view, MZ was going after me because of inside knowledge about my role, but after reading his claim and his explanation for why he was specifically interested in my point value - it seems like at least a possible scenario. Then again, he does say his PM says nothing about subtraction, so that doesn't exactly match with the change in my point value. Either way, I am more convinced his claim is true than false - as the role itself seems believable when compared to what I've received.

I thought that outing now would help clarify a lot of what has happened so far and, if MZ is telling the truth, stop us from arming another townie. I seems more helpful to me that I step in and stop us from arming another townie when we could go after scum.

Unless you don't want that, UT, I suppose there are a few people who wish I would have let MZ get thrown under the bus.

thrown under the bus? Interesting choice of metaphor.
