Nightfall in just over an hour.
after this, the following votes came in:
Feck voted Irre
Diva voted gonzo
Praying voted Feck
Diva unvoted/voted Fuzzy
UT voted gonzo
As MZ has noted, this puts every unarmed player in the game within reach of either scum or the vig arming them tonight.
Except praying. I seriously considered backing off irre and putting a vote on praying today simply to put her in the same pile. But, I wasn't willing to take 2 votes off irre.
tonight's going to be interesting.
Fuzzy look we are about to find some scum! How cool is that!!

Praying if you're town go back and read day one again, i left some important clues in there aimed directly at you and so did at least 9 other players. You should really start at the beginning. Hint: use Google Translate to put each player's posts into either Polish of Portuguese depending on whether you think they are scum or town. hth
WTF are you talking about?
Funny thing is I am actually rereading day 1 now.

day 1 felt like lots of strong firm and trusting handclasps, pulling each other along. I believe several players thought they had good town reads and were willing to extend some trust and try to work together.
And I think we were mostly right. But, we're not getting the kinds of confirmation that cements that sort of cooperation (in those rare games where it even happens) due to the no-reveal thing. I've wavered on a couple of players I originally had a strong town read for but I keep coming back to "town" if only marginally.
I'm going to try to trust those instincts to the extent they deserve, until and unless we learn something that is a clear red flag.
Feck, you were always outside that circle for me, despite my thinking you are town due to your misread of Charlou and of me on day 1. but, I'm still leaning marginally town right now, despite the authorized stuff. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some clarity somehow.

Your towndar is working OB . I'm still pissed off that some people decided to spread the votes and give scum a virtually free choice of who to push over the edge tonight, the logic fails today have been astounding . And to be fair I didn't misread Charlou she misread her role PM and also misread what I said about it
We had a chance to stop someone with a scum role acting tonight (ok we might well not have got the right one) But now it seems we just wait to find out who scum want to fuck with

gib in answer to your questions, when i made that post about feck I really thought he looked town over at tr, I've never seen him that composed in a game before. After that his trolley track on char to the point she had to out looked like complete flail and still kind of makes me wonder. The get bent thing is just paranoia, I grew up on the simpsons and use it as a polite f-off to this day. Fuzzy got one because I saw no reason to divulge the exact position my current letter is in my codeword. If anyone can come up with a reason for knowing the exact number of points I got last night, I'll consider it, but no one has so far.

oh and in case anyone is keeping track, I've been railing against the spreading of votes since day one, it's nice a few other people are starting to see how close to the cliff it's taken us to.

and I'm also going to assign some homework. For all those who are actually organized enough to have a spreadsheet. have there been any people in particular that look like they've went out of their way to give everyone some points. Yes I know I'm lazy but these threads are friggin huge and if someone already has that info please share.

UT, what do you think about me revealing on day 4 how many points I got on night 2. I'm thinking it could help the day 4 victims interpret their scores.

the people who have stood out that way, especially with last minute vote-switching, are diva and irre, IMO. praying has been off the beaten path with her votes until today, though I think adding another vote to feck was completely unnecessary. feck on day 2 switched from mantis to borealis, but otherwise hasn't pinged in that way.

I have no problem with that ob, i'll even join in if it looks like we can get a picture sorted out.
As for what happened in the thread while I was away. Gib is looking much better today, either he's really selling a scum game or he's looking town. Irre, kind of feels like she's off, but she's not wrong about Ob. I've never seen ob either push people around like she's been doing or be so insulting to another player. The only time I've seen her do a meltdown was one she admitted after the game to have been faked, and she was scum that game so all sorts of alarm bells are going off for me right now.
gib's idea to view irre is a solid one, we'd get probably the most info out of her view as anyones. MZ is feeling town to me this game, at least I haven't seen any of the signs I usually associate with his scum game.
What are people's thoughts about when the end of the game will happen? I'm thinking at the rate we're throwing points down we have 2 days at the most before the plug is pulled, if that's true tomorrow is probably the day for our specials to give us anything they have.

i'll agree with diva and irre, those are the obvious ones from the day two last minute dance, especially the way they both ended up jumping. I was just wondering if someone with all the info could see anyone that always went for low point people. I think mz might be in that category, but unfortunately I'm not at all organized this game so I can't say for sure.

UT, I don't think you've been paying attention to TR games lately.
If you think that bore any resemblance to my fake meltdown last summer you should reveiw that game again, I guess.
My temper has been shorter and shorter in TR games recently, and I've decided not to play in games when people who seriously push my buttons will also be playing. Praying isn't in that category. Yet. But, after the Malazan game she's a lot closer. She tends to be over the top paranoid about me and I tend to beat her over the head when she posts stuff that indicate she isn't reading the thread carefully. Both of those things happened in day 3.
Maybe you didn't notice, the thing that flipped me over the edge just before nightfall was two people doing last minute vote-spreading.
Anyway, although I have wavered at times when people have pointed out things in your posting record that bugged them, I still am listening to my day 1 gut regarding you, and if it is possible to cooperate with you tomorrow, I will.

Did I do anything that would indicate that I would start a bandwagon?
I find it strange that Irre would be accused of white-knighting you and then you go after her.
THAT seems weird. I am not accusing you of anything so unless you have a rare conscience, you might want to think out your response to this post unless you have a hair-trigger finger that cannot help itself.
