Albeit it was a soft ping, but it was a ping.

I must be thick. What is relevant about getting to two votes?Magicziggy wrote:Ok Fact. We know that the most points we've seen go on overnight is 4. That means any one on 1 point looks clear from being armed over night.irretating wrote:I thought you were referring to me, ob. That you haven't commented on me yet tells me volumes.
MZ and diva, I just don't get your posts. What are you both on about? MZ, you are going to vote for anyone without votes on them, is that right? How does that strategy help town? This sounds like the vote spreading scheme that I don't agree with. And why did you reveal feck as possibly being the owner of Authorized? That's not pro-town, so FoS you for that. Diva, can you cut back on the drama in your posts, and either FoS or vote for your suspect rather than dance around it? What is it about UT that has you doubting? He didn't come under fire yesterday.
vote gonzo because he's not yet armed and I think he should be
If that player is scum, they literally have to do nothing and just play along. I'm quite prepared to sacrifice myself and look as scummy as hell just to get players up to 2 votes.
I was visited by someone but hard to tell how sexy they were because it was too dark. But they were sexy I'm assured. That I assume is a block.
That you are suspicious of me. I would start really worrying if you weren't.oblivion wrote: What do those volumes tell you?

1. that Ob was hit by a town vig on night 1 [+4]
2. maybe the town vig was blocked last night.
Or some other explanation. It would seem plausible that the big guns on both sides would be the same. ie {+4}.

Ping. Special hunting, now that you're armed and have nothing to lose?Bolero wrote:OK, I'm caught up.
So it seems that no-one had points subtracted last night. Which means that whoever had the subtracting power either
a) didn't use it,
b) was blocked, or
c) tried to use it on someone the scum prevented them from using it on.
As of nightfall yesterday, I'd say Charlou and Ob were the most obvious points-subtraction targets, so can I ask if either of you ladies had anything "funny" happen to you during the night which might be construed as scum preventing you from having points removed?

1 + 4 = 5 = not armed
2 + 4 = 6 = armed
2 + 4 = 6 = armed

"town vig" is there any other type?Magicziggy wrote:I am making some assumptions.Uselesstwit wrote:why do you think that scum have anything to worry about overnight mz? so far I've seen absolutely nothing pointing to anything but scum putting points on at night.

I thought gib was town on day 1, and I know he was in an intense spot in the game he was playing at TR up until today, so I haven't been pushing him here. But, I need more data.irretating wrote:I think gib's posting in the wrong thread is more townish clueless. I'm leaning town on him.oblivion wrote:I'd like to see gonzo armed today.
and I'd like to see some points on irre and gib at least for a while to see if that focuses their attention.
I kinda feel like the GMs should let us know 1) if they are looking for a sub for Aza, 2) how long they'll let it ride, and 3) what they plan to do if they can't find a sub.
Town needs to know whether it's ok to just let Aza drift or not.
I armed gonzo, see my post.
Yesterday, I was just happy that you weren't rocking the boat too much as the town mindmeld started to come together. But, you are kinda pulling in a different direction from some of us, and today I need to figure out if this is a townish disagreement or if you are trying to knock us off course.
Without cardflips, towndar is at least as important as scumdar in this game. We're a bunch of paranoid hedgehogs, so this isn't easy. Not one bit.

earlier in the game someone thought the vig is an indie role.irretating wrote:"town vig" is there any other type?Magicziggy wrote:I am making some assumptions.Uselesstwit wrote:why do you think that scum have anything to worry about overnight mz? so far I've seen absolutely nothing pointing to anything but scum putting points on at night.

Re: Timebomb Day 3
my initial thought was that I was vig-hit on night 1. It's still my main theory, but I had an alternative theory on what sort of vig might have hit Charlou. And some of the stuff going on today is fitting the alternative better.Magicziggy wrote:I am making some assumptions.Uselesstwit wrote:why do you think that scum have anything to worry about overnight mz? so far I've seen absolutely nothing pointing to anything but scum putting points on at night.

I'm not specials hunting. If you must know, something odd happened to me last night, and I'm trying to figure out what it was. I think it's important for us to figure out exactly how many night actions are happening, and which ones are town, and which are scum.

right but i was talking about putting points on, which is looking like scum only power to me but mz has posted twice that scum should be afraid of being armed overnight. trying to figure out where that idea came from.oblivion wrote:there were the points of yours that came off.Uselesstwit wrote:why do you think that scum have anything to worry about overnight mz? so far I've seen absolutely nothing pointing to anything but scum putting points on at night.

I'm not trying to be contrarian, but I'm just not getting the vote spreading thing. Gonzo is now 'lynched' and I think that's a good outcome. Bolero, yeah could go either way, but she seemed to be fishing for specials just now.oblivion wrote:I thought gib was town on day 1, and I know he was in an intense spot in the game he was playing at TR up until today, so I haven't been pushing him here. I don't know who is or is not scummy, but I do know that I really want to know what happened last night.
