not sure this has been mentioned but I haven't read the over night.....the op made a point of saying night moved were due x minutes ago so it was safe to start. my take away from that its someone(s) did not get there night move in...so the Max point thing could be off.

No it hasn't been mentioned .. good pick up, praying ...

We can't be sure all the points are accounted for anyway, as not everyone's mentioned their tally (no-one's obliged to, but many have).

Earlier, in reply to someone (diva iirc), I checked back through Bolero's posts to find where her daybreak tally was at, and found that after some uncertaintly due to the OP edit, she settled on it being a point added overnight.

The numbers are intriguing. Net +6
Given that 14 votes are cast each day and net 6 at night, that is the equivalent of 4 kills in one day/night cycle.
This has yielded two players being armed and three on the verge. Assuming they are telling the truth.

No she had three. I guess it's my error. But she did say she was armed.

ok I understand the missing night move comment.

but, I wouldn't necessarily read the GM comment that way. the deadline passage also means that players with night actions can't change their minds, so the night actions are now set in stone.
