On what do you base this?

In my experience and the experience of people I know, the strength of body odor seems to be primarily a function of how unsaturated one's fat intake is, with possible contributions from carbohydrate intake. A greater proportion of meat in the diet reduces body odor because meat fat tends to be more saturated.

Fatter people do tend have worse body odor, but that's true even if they don't eat meat. Big Macs, for example, have very little animal fat but lots of unsaturated vegetable oil in the "special sauce".

I don't think so. Unless of course they went vegetarian to lose weight and were already fat.

If a person is the sedentary, chip, doughnut, soft drink, butter and ranch dressing using type of vegetarian they are going to be more prone to obesity.

I can't subsist on carbohydrates and produce alone. I have to have some kind of high quality protein early in the day or my blood sugar drops. And carbohydrates cause that to happen faster even.

Still less prone than a sedentary, big mac, soft drink, rib eater.

More so than someone on a carnivorous diet with no plant foods, though.

Yes, for the most part. Jane Doe's body is her body, and it's none of your business, really. If she wants to have an abortion, while smoking a joint, and shoving Big Macs up her ass and while chewing on a McRib, that should be her right. You have the right to comment on it, and I have the right to tell you but out. It's called liberty.

People who eat excessive amounts of beans get BO. And, don't get me started on garlic and onions.

That, of course, depends on total calorie intake, versus total calories out. It doesn't matter if all you eat are Big Macs. If you burn or excrete more calories or equal calories than go in, then you won't gain weight. If the intake exceeds the amount burned or excreted/defecated/urinated/sweated/spit/etc. then the body stores it as fat.
