A bone to pick with the Designer.

Consider that ~99.9999% of the Universe is vacuum, and ~99.9999% of what isn't is flaming nuclear fire balls, and ~99.9999% of what's left from that is places humans will probably never want to visit for any amount of live, leave alone live there. Who designs that kind of thing?

Something that 99.9999...% doesn't exist? :ask:

I'm still trying to resign the kind loving designer image with cobras, rattlesnakes, scorpions, polio, droughts, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, Glen Beck, GW Bush, Alzheimers, tooth decay, cluster bombs, adolescence.
And I haven't even gotten to outer space yet...

Maybe we live in a homeopathic universe?

God doesn't exist. However I can answer these questions since I actually know the guy who did design. The correct answer is the extra space is need for something spectacular which emerges long after humans have gone extinct when AI robotic intelleigences dominate. That's right, a space war. You can't have a space war in a small space....for long.
