Hmmm....hard to do without being long-winded as a right wing propagandist. Have you tried the ecellent writeup in Wikipedia?kiki5711 wrote:Can anyone explain what HAARP does in plain language? I already googled it and I don't understand.

HAARP researches the influence of the ionosphere (a layer in our atmosphere with high concentrations of charged particles) on radio communications.kiki5711 wrote:Can anyone explain what HAARP does in plain language? I already googled it and I don't understand.

And their web site is fucking ugly. I mean I understand a research program having a HTML-2.0 compliant website to be accessible to users running antiquated hard- and software and slow internet connections, but then don't include 90 kB photos on your front page. That's just bad design. And who has a browser with 860 pixels of horizontal real estate anymore? Seriously, HAARP, 1996 called, and they want their angry fruit salad back.

Nope, except for conspiracy theorists. "Weather war" was a hot topic in the '80s, and the CTers latched on to research in the atmosphere and came up with "secret" missions for HAARP.kiki5711 wrote:does it have anything to do with manipulating the weather or anything like that?
