Praying, I'd also still like answers to these questions:

http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 91#p796691
Praying, what information did you receive about your wounding on Night 2?
http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 21#p796721
Also praying, can you please explain that Cooee call and response between you and Athene? What was that all about?

Then that would mean Irre was killed by the serial killer.

wouldn't shock me, she seemed to think aza was town, so he might have been hoping to get one of her gifts.

I don't know UT, the knife that killed MZ was "hauntingly familiar". That description seems more SK than scum to me. I think it might be possible that it was a hint that the SK is maybe elf or half-elf even. Unless Mantis was the one who killed MZ before she was killed and the "hauntingly familiar" is an allusion to her as the don, who would show up town?

A post from divagreen yesterday got me thinking. Now this could be more of my wild paranoiac speculation, (and who knows, praying may show up today to tell me so,) but:

Given the murder weapon was a Sunfolk dagger, then someone who is one of the Sunfolk is potentially in the frame as Serial Killer.

There are 2 players still around whose outed roles are Sunfolk – Leetah (me) and Rayek (Bolero.)

In my case, my role PM didn’t say I was Sunfolk, only that I was the lifemate of Cutter (chief of the Wolfriders – Nelliken), so I was surprised today to discover I was listed amongst them. That’s not wifom – I am the outed doc and I am not the Serial Killer.

I can see 2 flavour scenarios that would make Bolero a credible Serial Killer. One is that the win condition is to eliminate all non-Sunfolk, which might explain why Bolero was keen for everyone to out their tribe allegiances on Day 3 (?) The other is this:

http://www.elfquest.com/pubs/bios/Sunfolk/Rayek.html
No greater love could ever be demonstrated than that of Rayek's absorption of Winnowill's spirit to save both her and the World of Two Moons. Rayek could not risk Winnowill seizing control of the Palace. He now wanders the world with Ekuar, wearily fulfilling his job as both Winnowill's jail and jailer.
http://www.elfquest.com/pubs/bios/Glide ... owill.html
When the Djun's people rebelled and his Citadel fell, he killed Winnowill, not knowing that to kill the body was to release her to even more power and disaster. Winnowill's spirit left her body, but before it could fill the shards with her hate, Rayek drew it inside himself, trapping her. Rayek now roams the World of Two Moons, an exile from his own race, keeping Abode safe from the evil spirit of Winnowill, which he contains within himself.
I think I'll withhold my vote for a bit & see if this makes sense to anyone else. I have to say Bolero hasn't looked the scummiest of the uncleared players (that would be you, praying :razzle:), but still...

vote msg is my response this whole post reeks of bad news for town

A revenge vote praying? When I haven't even voted?

Where were all day yesterday? One measly post once Aza had been outed as non-elf?

And why does my whole post reek of bad news for town?

MSG, your reasoning re: Sunfolk dagger makes good sense. I didn't realise you were Sunfolk as well. I know I'm not a SK, so maybe there are other Sunfolk out there who didn't realise they were, either (or who are keeping it quiet - I mean you could SAY you were anything, right?)? Like I said before, using a Sunfolk dagger may be deliberate to set me - or you - up, or a diversion to draw attention.

Alternatively, the dagger could be a total red herring, seeing as it's an elf dagger, and we're fairly certain all the trolls are gone (are we certain of that?). It might simply mean that whoever used it is an elf, not specifically Sunfolk. Which could have implications for UT's night views in terms of everybody who's left viewing as elves. Actually, now that I think about it, why isn't UT dead? I mean, if the SK had something to fear from UT, he'd be dead, wouldn't he? Unless you protected him, MSG? - argh, my head is swimming.

Oblivion's day four nightfall post wrt Aza: http://www.rationalia.com/forum/viewtop ... 45#p797145

Re the part I've bolded, is this significant or just flavour talk?

The "and your band has been infiltrated" part makes me wonder if there is an elf that is a threat to town.
I agree with Feck ( http://www.rationalia.com/forum/viewtop ... 37#p797237 ) .. it's common for that to be included in the introduction to the game scenario, of any flavour. OTOH, I also think it's possible there's a traitor or some kind of recruitment going on.

A few questions for MSG...

MSG, why are you so certain that there's an SK in this game?

MSG, if your role is to be believed and you did protect a targetted player last night, why assume that player was targetted by an SK ... and not scum?

MSG, if that player was targetted by an SK, why was there no scum kill?

I suspect you're right about Charlou, but I'd still like to hear from her on this:

True.
The fact that there were NO kills last night suggests that either:
1. All baddies took a night off.
2. There's only one threat to town left (SK, 3rd faction), and he/she/they took a night off.
3. There's only one threat to town left (SK, 3rd faction), and he/she/they targetted the person who was protected by MSG.

I'm guessing now that MSG protected UT, but I guess it's equally likely he protected himself or Feck. I can't think who else he'd protect - we just don't know who's trustworthy (although I'm inclined to feel trustier of you, charlou, after UT's viewing last night).

Re the part I've bolded: That's another  moment on my part ... of course, you're right about those possibilities, and I guess we could well be down to just an SK threat at this point.
