Linus agrees with me indicating that he got a similar PM (sans the posting restriction info), so that leaves me wondering if you got told your alignment rather then your clan, and if so what does that say about you?

And nowhere in these PMs did you guys have any mention of your win condition being the elimination of all threats to TOWN?

And, if your PM did include that wording, how on earth did you guys possibly have any doubt what your alignment was?

Because I know nothing about elfquest and it wasn't obvious to me. Make of that what you will.

Because it has something to do with something my character really really loves.

On night 1 Athene had a dream, about a green troll finding Higgs2, who was night-killed.

Presumably, Azathoth will also have a dream on Night 2, if the story is true.

What I can't figure out is, how we can use this information to town's advantage.

Athene, was there anything more? Any way to identify, or clear, a player?

Otherwise, intentionally or not, it's just wifom.

I'm thinking that if Athene is PIke, it's the bit about dream berries that cause dreams. Not necessarily who has the rhyming restriction. Maybe that's just there to add character.

It does say that but I was personally momentarily confused as I'm used to the PM saying explicitly something like "you are town". Early in this thread you were willing to cut praying a lot of slack for her truly astonishing postcount to content ratio. I'm not sure why the "Love Lucy" analogy doesn't extend to confusion over the role PM.

But, as far as Praying goes, I'm sure you're familiar of the concept of the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Mantis is pinging still for me. The defence of Gonzo yesterday, her speed at voting Athene when she appeared to be a SK. Now the reasoning over Irre seemed a little false. All she had to do was vote Irre. If she's the Don again I feel sorry for her. I don't think she'll be enjoying it.

Denny and DP are troubling me. Zigmen less so.

I had to double take my role pm. First read I thought I was something else. It was on a second read that the "..win when threats to town...." bit sunk in.

We seem to agree that it was a scum kill last night. Feck seemed to think it was obvious. I didn't. But it does leave the question of why no other kills. "...threats to town..." implies an indy and in a game of this size I would expect one. So perhaps they were blocked and the blocker knows this. Make sure you leave a clue.

Meh. I'm not scum I'm an indie. I could have helped town a la oblivion's noble savage, but it seems a foregone conclusion that I'm going to be lynched.

I am two edge, so my win condition is to survive, no matter who wins. I get to make stuff and give it to people. On day 1 UT had a double vote. On night 1 Aza had a sword. Note he didn't use it, or he was blocked.
