The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

No. I'd rather burn the bondholders and liquidate the idiotic banks.

You want to assassinate Franz Ferdinand?

Why? Some of their early stuff was good.

Why would The DEA and ATF want to kill their friends?

What part of "U.S. Military" was unclear to you?

Good way to do some extra training of the drone operators, too...

And, if Mexico's security situation worsens, they may even come to an agreement with the US about Seth's suggestion as well...

Mind you, if drugs were legalised in the US, the powerful mexican drug gangs would suffer a very big hit in revenue, and the drones would no longer be needed......

The most important point of all JimC, it's the US "war on drugs" :|~ that has caused all this chaos in the first place.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

I hope not. I'd really rather not be in a shooting war on our southern border.

Not a shooting war with Mexico, just taking on a sub-contactor's role of vermin disposal... :zilla:

(but, in reality, I concede there would be too much chance of mistaken identity etc, so I shall abandon the Tom Clancy fantasy at this point... ;) )

Well, we're not at war with the government of Afghanistan, either.

Come to think of it, Afghanistan could also be solved by legalizing drugs in the U.S.
