Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread

Honestly, I am not getting much of a read off anyone.

So far, we've got Zigmen and gib doing a lot of vote shifting at the beginning. I find it slightly odd that Zig changes his vote to Callan after her hi peeps post. Zig, was there something about that post that pinged to you somehow?

Higg comes in with a wrong statement, which gib does not like.

We've got that Callan thing, with her voting for Ani and then defending herself. I agree that this is not a pro town move.

DP thinks that Ani might be a town role.

Feck states that he does not like day one bandwagons (fair enough I guess). I'd like to see Callan come on and unvote Ani/Charlou. However, if Callan turns up scum, there might be something to Feck's statement. Feck votes gib instead

Denny votes for Squid for an in and out post. hmm

Aza comes in and votes MZ. MZ speculates on game design..

And Ob "has a fucking headache" : P

I'm always unsure about UT. And Aza has stuck out to me a bit as well. But, I could just always find him scummy looking. for now,

vote Aza

What on earth gave you the impression I was any good at this?

I just got lynched on Day 1 as an uncontested, outed town special over at TR. I'm beginning to wonder if I am just the plucky comic relief.

I didn't know if I'd be voting today, but mantis, your post just settled that one

why exactly charlou? doing the in depth analysis seems to be a tell for irre but I didn't think it was for mantis.

I originally put a vote on callan because she was defending that stupid ani vote and acting defensive, wanted to put on a little pressure. I thought she'd probably back down and change her vote but instead spiraled into over the top land. I know that callan has been lynched as town before, but I don't remember her acting this defensive.

Mantis, that was a p. weak effort. MZ seems off to me. Zigmen I agree with your callan vote but not so much your reason which doesn't really have that much substance. UT, I'm not sure about gib. He was pretty cocky when he was a cult recruit in the last game I played here. So maybe. Whoever asked about oblivion pinging, it's hard for me to tell with the headache thing, she wouldn't fake that I don't think but I'm not sure what scummy OB with a headache would be like. worth watching, charlou, why would you not vote today, and why would that typical mantis post change your mind.

It's my bedtime now.

That's because it's not a tell. I have to admit that I'm not really in a mafia mood right now and am really not getting any sort of ping from anyone. Aza could very well be a poor choice on my part, because I always tend to think he looks scummy.

unvote

Higgs, my initial reasons for a page 1 day 1 vote is often weak. I originally voted Gib just to see how he'd respond. I switched to Callan for being a bit too cheery, chummy, and lacking anything else. Callan's subsequent flail enticed me to keep my vote where it was, and for the exact reason I didn't keep my vote on Gib.

It wasn't in depth analysis, it was shallow, stating the obvious stuff.

That extra full stop is very telling.
Zigmen, what does it mean?

To me it is indecision on top of a raging headache coupled with a statement of the bleeding obvious.

FWIW I never saw Irre's comment about scum knowing they were scummy until I re-read the OP just now.
I only saw the picture caption.

Cooking now.

I know what you are talking about, but it's not what I've seen in his scum game in the past. OTOH his town game has been pretty ballsy of late.

On the gripping hand, he came off pretty ballsy when he was recruited in the last ratz game. And in that game he had info that other players didn't. Namely that the cult recruiter had died when she tried to recruit me, which meant I was either scum or a special.

So, I dunno.

Cockiness is usually what I associate with town.
Vote switching is as well.
But gib's initial flipping around was actually less helpful than he usually is as town, if anyone can remember that far back.

It means I was stupidphoning. I hit that key instead of the space key pretty easily. You can blame not noticing it on the headache.
