Atheists attacking Billy Ray Cyrus
http://friendlyatheist.com/2011/02/16/b ... eist-sign/
“Somewhere along this journey,” he says, “both mine and Miley’s faith has been shaken. That saddens me the most.” When they first came to Hollywood for Hannah Montana, the two of them would drive down the freeway together to the studio each morning, and every day Miley would point out the sign that said
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
ATHEISTS UNITED
Just before moving out to Los Angeles, the whole family had been baptized together by their pastor at the People’s Church in Franklin, Tennessee. “It was Tish’s idea,” he remembers. “She said, ‘We’re going to be under attack, and we have to be strong in our faith and we’re all going to be baptized…’” And there, driving to work each day in the City of Angels, was this sign. “A physical sign. It could have easily said ‘You will now be attacked by Satan.’

What a dweeb.
But here’s the thing about rights. They’re not actually supposed to be voted on. That’s why they’re called rights. ~Rachel Maddow August 2010

I'm putting an end to my nieces listening to Hannah Montana

Shame he wasn't attacked by heavily armed, psychopathic, killers instead.

Didn't Bill Hicks (not technically an atheist) propose a TV show where he hunts down and kills Billy Ray Cyrus?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

My 2p worth posted on FB yesterday: How are we supposed to accept a lecture on morality from a man who pimped out his underage daughter for a semi-naked photo shoot?

I drive by a billboard on my way to work that reads in huge letters,
WHEN YOU DIE, YOU WILL MEET GOD. And every day, when I see i, I feel like I'm being attacked by fuckwits. And I wish they'd all go to meet their god

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Ah, yes... surely the greatest TV idea pitch in history... "I want to create a show where I rid the world of all these fevered egos tainting our collective unconscious"
With the classic hurdle placed before him by the executive... "will there be titty?"

Is this another slam against Americans?

No. Just the one American.

I'd like to see his birth certificate before I go around believing he's an American.

I'd like to see his
