The BBC is supposedly 'biased', as is C4, particularly when it comes to their news reports. I don't personally mind, but I'd have difficulty in labeling it 'bias'. I don't believe that most British people are reactionary, prejudiced or socially conservative; this being the case, the mainstream media reflects this. I'm not particularly know what's to complain about, but there exist some contention amongst the right-wing about it. Personally, I wouldn't want to watch conservative programming, because I don't like arseholes.
Anyway, how would the BBC ever be fully 'balanced'? I've recently heard that the editors have been told to stop referring to 'electoral reform' as 'electoral reform', so they can't willingly mention what something
actually is without incurring the wrath of a censor.
I'm aware of the US right-wing foaming at the mouth over the purported 'liberal media' in America, and so I do wonder what such people would make of our television over here
