I wish it was real.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

I think a number of world leaders who can see the coming train wreck of the global economy probably wish it was true also.

"The main thing that I learned about conspiracy theory is that conspiracy theorists actually believe in a conspiracy because that is more comforting. The truth of the world is that it is chaotic. The truth is, that it is not the Jewish banking conspiracy or the grey aliens or the 12 foot reptiloids from another dimension that are in control. The truth is more frightening, nobody is in control. The world is rudderless." Alan Moore.

I've gone through a fair amount of research into bullshit in my days, Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Illuminati, Golden Dawn etc. Scary bastards like Propaganda Due who were possibly the best candidate for a Masonic state within a state, operated and existed in Italy. Cecil Rhodes the bloke who coloured most of Africa pink left money behind to start a secret society to ensure the interests of British Empire. Interesting enough the first person to suggest a British Empire and I believed coined the term was the Occultist Doctor Dee. The Speculative Society are perhaps a quasi Masonic group who are made up of most of the “great and good” within Scotland. You’ve also got nutters like Bohemia Grove in the states. Shadowy and weird organisations at the top of the pile do exist. But realistically speaking the worst you can say is that our leaders are likely corrupt and possibly believe an insane amount of woo woo and bullshit. Is there some over arching plan to rule us all? Nope, but vested self interest and mad ideas, and high jinks and kinks behind closed doors inarguably exist.
