Where else could you go from the taste of raw egg to licking marmalade off tits in such a short space of time?

I'm liking this post. The Curious Squid wrote:Did any of you click the link near the end of Pappa's video and watch part two?
I don't think that guy was stupid, he has pre-set notions of the world because of his upbringing and probably because of the way atheism is portrayed in the media (and thanks to Dick Dawkins) and he hasn't had to answer questions like the ones he was given. He was clearly stunned and confused and some of the things he said seemed silly because of it but if you keep watching he actually takes on board what they are telling him and sounds as if he better understands by the end of the show. He also sounds like a genuinely good person in spite of his faith and to me that makes him undeserving of the abuse you guys are just throwing at him on the grounds of a few slip ups and misconceptions.
If all religious people were like Mike from Austin then we'd all be one step closer to a rational debate and from there I doubt it'd be much of a push to get people to see reason. Listen to part 2, he is smart enough to recognise the points made.

The one sheep parable, at 8 minutes, where is it? Who is our Bible scholar?Pappa wrote:Some really help reinforce the stereotype:

I believe that they really think that way, but don't admit it because they'd lose their "jobs" if they did. Monasteries crack me up at times, they seem to be for the folks that can't deal with religion.Geoff wrote:(stolen from the Dawktor's fb post)
I watched part 2 and it was way more interesting and revealing than part 1. I tend to agree with Squid. The Curious Squid wrote:Did any of you click the link near the end of Pappa's video and watch part two?
