This is the point of religion though .Morticia. isn't it? Any and every religion claims that following its particular beliefs and principles is the only valid basis on which to live ones life, that goodness and virtue are the preserve of religiosity, and therefore to be without 'proper belief X' is to be without virtue and goodness - by definition immoral.
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.

It will be interesting to learn what actually happens. France is pretty secular these days, I suspect there may be some protests.

Most religious people I have met have a wrong understanding of religion. So, there seems to be a lot of that going around.
