No In this game it would be indy hunting and specials don't have odd win conditions they are town or scum. You however are not town .

You, Mister Self-Voted Mayor, are attempting to distract attention from your own play, which has so far been of very little help to Town, and has in fact created more wifom-related problems than it has solved. I'm still inclined to believe that you might be a Jester.

If we're looking at who seems less Townish so far, that'll be you rather than me. I've been trying to solve problems, not manufacture them as you have been doing.

I have nothing to hide. I'd be very surprised if you can say the same.

Could you be any more unhelpful if you really put some effort into it?

No, what's hellish is knowing that scum (or anti-town indies, if you prefer) are pissing themselves laughing at this sideshow.
I'd hoped that Ani's absence might mean we would be spared pointless townie catfights this game.
Apparently not, but this particular one is at an end.

Feck, you voted yourself mayor.. you must have known that if you managed to get yourself made mayor - as you have - that you'd be the likely seer view. So what is with the 'oh seer don't view me it's not worth your trouble' stuff?? We already had enough WIFOM in this thread without you adding to it. And, I miss ani in this game too, but that doesn't mean that someone should step in and try to channel him.

The mono situation is intolerable. How can he ask not to be killed when he posts a hello and then a 'oh wow this thread is too long to read' and that is it... I wonder if we can make a case for godkill/sub?

Higgs has been oh so quiet.

It's worth pointing out that oblivion started the aza BW, even if she didn't stay on it. I won't FoS that, because last game she kind of started the BW on higgs (who was town) that was leapt on by scum and got higgs lynched. Just keeping note.

since you are keeping note, also note that on day 1 of the last game I also backed off a vote on mantis.

Didn't get one in my PM, just said I was town, and then my character, and then telling me I am the miller.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I posted quite a bit when the game is going on. This is night chat, no? My observation is that the seemed to say that one indie is at the forefront as a serious enemy while the others are neutral for the moment but have some powers. I'm guessing that we did not the super dangerous one.

Also, what do you you guys think the win condition for town is? It seems like it would depend on the indie win conditions if there is no scum, but then that gets convoluted and plain irritating. Oblivion, I had asked you this earlier, is there any way there could be a balanced game with this many players, some scum, and some indies? Or anyone with gm experience.

I'm p. busy today so not around a lot. Plus I hurt my neck and i'm in pain.

re-reading the story so far...

Feck was pretty weird at the start of Day One - voted himself for Mayor, and achieved his goal, too.
Has since calmed down, but is making a helluva lot of noise about how very very Town he is, which is most unusual for him.

Higgs - you're ever so quiet. Usually your insights are so helpful.

I've seen Mono and Gib here reading since the Nightfall post, but they have scuttled away again with no input. To a writeboard, maybe?

And DP - I still think he's pulling some evil stunt with this Miller shit, and so did Azathoth. Even if we do believe that he's a Miller - and that's a big IF - then he's still uncleared, and by definition, unclearable. Either way, he's too damn dangerous to keep around.
It was irre who mentioned that Miller is a Town liability, and that's putting it kindly. The only people who get any fun out of Miller roles are the GMs who assign them. Zigmen, you wicked person. :nono:
I'm not pulling any stunt, thought one of the unwritten rules of mafia was lynch all liars, and I think I was first to point out that I can't be cleared except by being killed and that I would be a distraction at endgame. I'll try to help find the anti-town players until I'm killed, but if I'm still here on day 3 or 4 it will be time to remove me, hopefully the seer will have a few useful views by then and town will be in a good position going into the endgame.

I'm still wary of your claim, DP - simply because in the game where I was a Miller, I showed scum if lynched but town if NKd.
So your insistence that the only way to clear you is to lynch you can't help but sound like a clever bluff to me - as if you're almost daring us to be unkind enough to lynch you.
I'd be happy to hear anyone else's thoughts about this - was I just in a screwed-up game (Irre! Grrr!) or am I right to remain suspicious?
