Definitely, the only thing more stupid than believing in one god would be believing in a whole bunch of them.

So the scale of intellect goes:

1)Atheism
2)Monotheism ?)Agnosticism(They don't know if they're smart or not yet)

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

No. I thought you were all admirers of Richard Dawkins, and quite sensible. I just signed in here after seeing a link on his forum. I can sort of see why he jettisoned his forum and you all with it - it's more Monty Python than anything else here.
Some of the members here love RD, and some would just love his member.

And now for something completely different...

I looked up panentheism (I thought at first you had spelt it wrong) and it means that God is sort of infused everywhere in the fabric of the universe or something. Total nonsense, but it is not about believing in a whole bunch of gods.

NO polytheism if lots of gods . Panentheism is one god in everything (or bits of him in everything ,or emanations from him in everything. It's all a bit vague and if you ask a panentheist about what they believe they get all angry or mystical on your ass )

Well add polytheism in at 4 and the list still stands, the god is everything crowd are all nuts anyway.

I don't make a distinction between stupidity and not thinking myself so I would have to say yes
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Is not being educated same as being stupid? I don't think so.
