Gib was a good choice. However, and this is a big however, WHY was there no scum kill? Do we really have a seer AND a doc AND this role of oblivions, with scum as well? The place is starting to be a bit crowded. I'm far from convinced on a night view AND a night kill. I've never heard of it before.

Mantis, gib voting you for mayor is going to put you under the spotlight. I can see charlou's reasoning. Oblivion, what is bothering me is that you are thinking charlou is a don, when IF your role is legit AND you cleared charlou then she is just likely confused town.
If there's a seer, you should out. That's my opinion, let's hear from others first, before you do.

No Charlou, irre defended you to me saying that your vehement insistance that I was scum was just as likely to be confused town. She convinced me of it, because it reminded me of a few games where I was confused town.

As for the Oblivion/MZ thingy, I just went to bed and got up again 'cause it won't let me go. If you two are in together, then Mantis doesn't have to be. You could have picked her as mayor to avoid MZ being mayor (I think he had 3 votes too, in fact, but you're voting for Mantis made her mayor and saved MZ scrutiny whilst ensuring Jynx got lynched). So you and MZ could have made this indy/seer thing up to special-hunt. It did draw DP out as doc, but the other seer (if there) may just be laying low so as to avoid MZ being scrutinised. Then you could have made up the whole bit about viewing Charlou and Mantis.

Don't know what to make of Feck and Squid. Gib deflected twice from fossing of Feck and indicated Squid. In fact, lots of people think Squid is very suss and Feck is very town. But I'm not seeing either points of view too well. Charlou, you never answered my question about Feck (when you fossed him and MZ).

The only person I feel confident of at the moment is DP (doc) and probably Mantis, too. In fact, I didn't get the whole "Mantis doesn't want to be mayor thing" on day 1 and then she was voted in. By Gib, Oblivion and MZ.

And I agree with Charlou that an indy kill would be better than a town kill. On day one, you thought both squid and gib looked townish, Charlou. Wanna say why?

BTW - the voting on day two was as follows: MZ votes me (not in bold) then Higgs votes Squid, then MZ unvotes me, Then Irre votes Squid, then MZ revotes me, then Mantis votes me, then unvotes and votes Higgs. Mantis did change from me to Higgs (she said her vote was a toss-up initially).

I don't know if this will convince you that I can be trusted another day/night or not, but here goes. I have a rock solid reputation as an indie at TR. If I out my role and tell town I'm working with them, that's what I do, and I trust that if I deliver on my promises, that town will let win with them if they can. I would never blow off that reputation over any single game. On the contrary, I want to cement the same reputation here. It's a point of pride.

A scum player fake-outed as seer and claimed he had viewed me as town. I outed as indie and got town to lynch him. That night I NKed the don. The next day I led the lynch on a 3rd scum player. And on night 3 I killed the last scum. Then on day 4 I had to convince town to let me win with them, BY LYNCHING some of their own.

They did it. twice. and I won with town. You don't get that level of trust without earning it.

And neither does town.

I've been catching up with the thread and still have a few pages to go.

It all seems a little too convenient to me that the "specials" are outing and backing each other up all of a sudden with almost no questioning except from Irre.

A possibility that's come to my mind is that DP could be scum and that scum have intentionally not NKd someone to try and make it look as if he's a doc. I'm still new to this game and don't know if that idea is mental or not but it's something everyone seems to just over look.

I've been accused of trolley tracking and I don't know what it means exactly but I can guess a bit (That I'm trying to get people to jump on feck?) and that has made me think about backing off of him but even with all the turns that have happened today up to the point I've read I still don't have a good feeling about him. On a separate note, I was thinking a lot about the comment I said to feck yesterday and want to apologise, I was over zealous to try to get you to explain your absence here. Sorry Eddy

Oblivion and MZ seem to be getting really cooperative as someone else pointed out and I'd say they may both be bluffing but that leaves my list of suspects too large. So far Mantis and Nell actually seem the most townish to me, and Charlou only slightly scummy so far.

I'll try and catch up with the rest of the thread before voting.

Ok, so MZ was the first to put a vote on Nellikins.
at that point Feck had one vote and Squid had 2.
Then I voted higgs
gib voted higgs
Mantis voted nellikins

Squid - 2 (hit 2 first), higgs 2, Nellikins 2.5

Then mantis unvoted Nelli and voted higgs2.

When gib placed his vote, the player in danger of lynch was Squid.

If mantis were scum would she first put a vote on another scum player (and put them in the lead), and then switch to a town player 1 minute to Nightfall?

It would be a very panicky thing for a scum player to do, no?

I am more comfortable going with the player gib objectively helped most with his vote, I think.

and on reread, although I think a lot of Nelli's reasoning is flawed, I do think that she's trying - she's scumhunting with the tools she has developed so far.

So we have Mantis protecting Nelli ,but we don't know mantis is scum ,

and Gib protecting Squid we do know Gib is scum

but Gib mayor voted Mantis ......argh I don't think Squid would have been so pushy about thinking I was scum if he knew I was town .

if by some quirk of GMing there is no Don then to balance the game there might not be a Doc and knowing this then when scums hit failed either because Gib chose to do it and OB got em first ,or because the selected player had a monopoly flavour protection from kills (I had one ) then DP could have jumped up with a Doc claim .BUT that's horrible Wifom .
I think we should worry about Vanilla scum before Don scum .(Don Scum is that Aberdeen football fans ? )
