Ok, so this is just me talking out of my ass until you can see my writeboard musings. I thought that MZ was a special on day 1 due to the way he reacted to my pressuring him. He called it special-hunting.

If I had been playing in self-interest, he would have been my night 1 kill, because from my perspective the biggest danger to me from town was a special - the seer. But, I intended from the start to play pro-town and expected that I'd eventually either voluntarily out or be outed. So, MZ was not my night 1 target.

I've read the entirety of day 2.

I can't get past that MZ supposedly knew all day that oblivion was not town, and said not a thing. Not a single thing.

Also, oblivion led gib to considering higgs2, and when he happily latched on, oblivion puts the first vote on higgs, quickly followed by gib. All very convenient, wot? Higgs would be seen as a bigger scumhunting threat than squid (who was up for lynching otherwise).

oblivion, DP and MZ are the 'cleared' team, eh? So, who are you going to vote for?

Edit: surely you don't count charlou and mantis as cleared? There'd be a don, no?

So the higgs bandwagon, with help from gib saved Squid from lynch. And he pushed really hard to be viewed. Don?

Nellikins hasn't done much in the way of scum hunting this game, but this is her second game, and her first was a Ghat mindbender. Some of her posts have looked scummy to me, but IDK, I also know that her questions were genuinely stuff that didn't come up in the hide and seek game and I know I didn't cover with her during that game.


(I think I owe her another round of mentoring if she wants one)

Irre, I didn't think outing as seer on the basis of finding the indy straight away was the most prudent thing to do.

I would have left a trail by the end of the night had she not outed .
I wanted to get at least one more view in, which I did.
This is my first time as seer.

Yes indeed. Now that I've kind of calmed down a little, I can see how Charlou's reaction could be, as you said, confused town. I'm just having to weigh that reaction against the reactions of players who were happy to have my help with a kill and a view last night. I'm still perplexed how my doing 1) what seemed to fit fairly well with the advice I was given and 2) what netted a scum kill and a view of a player who was a pretty big question mark yesterday looks so scummy to her. and to you for that matter, though you were quite up front in your first post after nightfall about lynching me today if I survived the night. Later you came around and allowed as how given the low participation of some quiet players, there was a chance I'd hit town, but you sounded ok with that.


Mantis has explored my role a bit, and done her usual devils advocate stuff. It could be onstrued as scum sizing up the possibility of my doing a turncoat, rather than a town player trying to assess my likelihood of betraying a commitment.

This commitment is one sided. I know that. But, from my side it is not revocable in this game. As long as I'm alive, I'm going to do my best for town.

you are spinning like a top. YOU just questioned that I was not taking into account that charlou could be the don.

jesus christ irre. you're doubting TWO town specials who haven't been counterclaimed yet. Put aside the question of whether I can be trusted. Does it make sense that TWO scum would fake claim major special roles? They can't win today. They'd have to keep this up and avoid lynch for at least 2 more days.

And they should be throwing me to the mob, because if you lynch me, you're not lynching them.

Just reread day 1. Oblivion, you initially had voted Mantis for lynching and then unvoted (she would have been lynched as she got the votes before Jynx) and voted her for mayor. You saved her skin. What if you are indie but have aligned with scum and are playing with them. Then MZ (seer) gets you as indie and reads Mantis as town, although she is actually the don. Oblivion and Mantis were also responsible together for the Higgs BW that saw her lynched yesterday.

So att he moment I've got Mantis, Oblivion, and possibly MZ on one side. And Charlou and Irre on the other. I'm inclined to believe DP at doc and don't know what to do with Feck and Squid. Anyone I've forgotten?
