I was hoping to get wifomy enough that a scum king would decide you could execute me. I was so pissed when everybody put me at the bottom of their scummy lists. I even ADMITTED THAT I LIED damn it.
But you were playing just too town like for any execution on your part. At least the way I saw it.

MZ, Ani was in the clear for you, because you knew he was kingmaker, right?

haha :)

I probably would have chose Mort for execution. But Oblivion had got it right in one of her posts. She speculated that Irre could have been bussed, for the reason that Irre was on the top of everyone's list. So it would have looked too scummy to ignore that.

When I saw my role, I knew it was a very long shot, me getting lynched before I was NKed. And I expected to be dead on day 2, not king.

I kept my thoughts about denny mostly quiet, so that if I decided to kill him it would look out of the blue. And I really did struggle that day deciding between irre and denny. If I hadn't been the hero, and hadn't wanted to maintain at least some chance of getting lynched by a scum king, I would have killed irre on day 2, not denny.

I didn't explain that very well. I thought that being wrong about irre would be much more understandable to town than being wrong about denny. irre had been fosed much more heavily.

anyway...all that effort not to give off hero vibes, and I wound up making you guys think I was the kingmaker. And that was almost as bad. :/

I think what made you look townish was the way you executed Denny as well. I mentioned that in a post, that you looked sincere, and I meant it.

Just because you looked torn, and waited until the very last minute. It's hard to act that sort of thing out.

I was undecided. It was very difficult to assess what was the most protown thing to do, given my role. I'd rather just scum-hunt and not worry about how I'm killed, much less whether I am.

The kingmaker couldn't be king. Ani looked like a dead cert kingmaker from about Day 3.
He'd read the rules for one thing. And I picked that he wasn't scum. Had to be Kingmaker.

I wanted to eliminate the Oblivion wifom when I was king, but feared she might be the hero.

An Irre/Mantis combination is a scary thought really. Throw Denny in the mix and you have a formidable team.

It wasn't clear to us if kingmaker could be king. I asked ghat but of course he didn't answer me :nono:

The one mistake town made was to give mantis too much credit for executing me. She had followed the group will, and if she hadn't she'd have been lined up after me for execution. Oblivion realised it, but fell for the 'aww Mantis is too sweet to sledge and thus couldn't bus her teamy' cliche :hehe:

I couldn't believe how in the clear mantis was after bussing me. It was a massive risk, because she wouldn't be king the following day after I was killed, and our game would be over.

Yeah, that was a tough scum team.

This game was a real study in how important it is for town players to do what they can to put up a track record for future days. Mort and Mono simply didn't have enough track record.

When I saw that I was indeed the night 4 kill I knew it was going to be bad. That confirmed to me that the last scum was most likely an ex king. I had alluded to that on night 4, but not directly enough I guess for it to stick with anyone today. When gib started talking about Feck, I thought it was at least a step in the right direction.

then ani's posts went haywire from my perspective, and I started biting my nails over the possibility he was scum. he *had* looked kingmakerish before then. While I was alive, I lightly fosed him mostly so I didn't conspicuously leave him out. :/

I still have no idea what that game was about.

Although, coincidentally, I am painting the same room as I was then.
Then I was preparing the canvas.
Now I am making a complete and utter mess.

I didn't realise how much fun throwing paint at walls could be.

Like I said in the whiteboard, last post. You tend to hold town together. You do a lot of questioning and so keep the posts flowing. I'm glad (sorry!) that I chose to kill you when I did... because town had to be broken down.

Though, MZ - you are good at asking lots of questions too. And gib too.
