I am starting to think that Al Quaeda may have a point.

Maybe it is time for me to sign up? before I get the knock on the door............might not make any difference, but the alternative is being like a jew loaded on a train.

Methinks if someone like me (who thinks all Muslims should be strangled at birth. or earlier) is tempted to join Al Quaeda that perhaps the Merkins are losing the battle for ideas............

No more - nor less- so than Stalin, Mussolini or Hitler.
That's an inept comparison. Americans vote their government whereas your examples are not democracies. Although, they too are representative of their citizens......
Hitler was voted in by a minority of Germany's voters. Bush was elected by a minority of the USA's voters. Lenin was voted in a the majority of Russia's guns.

How would Obama like it if Wikileaks published his personal details, like his his name and address?
If I were president of the US or even UK PM I'd be livid! Can you imagine Wikileaks publishing the PM's name and address? There will be all sorts of terrorists queuing up to kill him. He would need extra security that us tax payers would have to pay for. :nono: :ask:

Are you trying to tell us that the names and residential addresses of the US prez and that of the UK PM are classified information?

They are also going after the credit cards, banking information, cell phone numbers, and IP addresses for the Twitter followers of WikiLeaks. Needless to say, I don't like Americans.
All americans? Even those you've never met?

Anyway, what's the betting that 4-chan already have a campaign going to get a million people following wikipeaks on twitter!! :tea:

I would like to report to any relevant authorities that although I do to have a twitter account, I do occasionally read news stories about it.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Of course. Otherwise we would be hearing stories about their cars being trashed on their drives, or dog poo being stuck through their letter box nearly every day. :ddpan:
I mean, I dunno where they live and Wikileaks haven't published those details.

The US authorities at the moment are reminding me of the Vatican when acuused of covering up kiddy fiddlers...

Both the denial and the attack the messenger are there in full force...

Just a note to some people in this thread, and other threads of a similar bent. I deliberately chose the words "US authorities" and not "Americans"

Perhaps a little thought might allow you to realise why... :tea:

I can completely understand being pissed about someone leaking the information, but the cat is out of the fucking bag and going after citizens who want to know exactly what information is already in the hands of our allies, rivals and enemies is just plain batshit.

I don't think there is anything to fear. If you've too much contact with Wikileaks the authorities may send someone round and confiscate your equipment to check(plant) things on it. I think OpenLeaks which is fully governed and funded by the right kind of people is a safer bet.
