Irre echoed me that mantis is damn hard to read. Would she bus her team mate coming up on endgame?
She's fos'd quite a few people I think.

Cool.
I guess it was too much to ask to have only two assassins.
If Mort is the other one, we might have a long night.

You know, it still bugs me that Feck killed UT on day 1 rather than one of the other no-shows. dangerous-if-scum, valuable-if-town. I was hesitant to make that kind of choice on day 2, despite irre being my next pick to execute. I wanted to give her time to help town if she was town.
and yeah, I didn't have strong evidence to kill her, but my gut was telling me to kill her or denny.

So looking at Mort next
Mort's posts so far :
Day 1:
Hello all! Just checking in!
There seems to still be a few no shows for the day. I find the disagreement between Zigmen and Oblivion curious. I think they are both right at the same time. I also find the special hunting by mono a bit suspicious but it could just appear that way out of confusion over how this game runs.
Also another thought, does one being king for the day mean that they are not an assassin?
Day 2:
Good morning all, it seems all of us villager may need to contribute a little more to help the king decide. While I see where Zigmen is coming from with the staying quiet it does not benefit town much if everyone does so. Assassins can just hide out that way. If everyone chooses to post wisely and not make fluffy and/or otherwise useless posts it shouldn't create too much clutter in the thread and will give Oblivion much more to work with then Feck had.
Just catching up...I am torn between Zigmen and Gib right now. Zigmen made a comment earlier that could have been special hunting when he commented about he NK's. I'm still waiting for an explanation on that one from him. Gib appears very reactive to me. As for the rest of the suggested lynches, Feck, although he made a bad choice, he ultimately appears town to me. If he is not he took one hell of a risk by ending the game day like he did.
Ani appears as obnoxious as ever, which is normal for town game.
Oblivion, why do you think Irre is special hunting?
I did mean that post. Sorry I should have quoted it. That's why I am waiting for him to clarify. It doesn't appear to me that he was referring to night chat, there was night chat. It appears he was referring to actual night actions, meaning the night actions of specials. That's my take on it.
That was exactly my thought when I read it. It seems Zigmen didn't read up on the game rules. He has made a few comments like that so far.

yeah, me neither. it's the same thing as with mono.
this is why there's a "lynch the quiet ones" rule of thumb. yes, it gives scum a hiding place in a particular game, and yes it can hurt town. but it hurts the game when players sign up and don't either participate or ask for a sub. Mort hasn't been online since Tuesday AFAIK.

Ok, the wifom is strong in this one.
Oblivion, you don't know why you trust me? I don't buy it.
You never state that you trust anyone.
Irre should have told you that I am highly suss of people who trust me.

This morning I reread the boy band game (most of it anyway) and it helped me see why I was more inclined to trust you this time out and why irre was pinging.
I feel like I've given away free tips this whole game. I spelled out to irre exactly why she seemed scummy.
Not sure I want to tell you why you seem townish to me. It's something you could duplicate. but it has to do with rough edges and sparks.

also, bullshit I don't say I trust people. what I say ALL THE TIME is that mafia is about paranoia and trust, and that it is just as importat if not more to learn when it is safe to trust and to what degree. go back and look at day 2. I talked about how I couldn't explain that essentially the same content - foses and rationales - from Irre and Charlou had given me completely different senses of scummyness versus trust.
when your scumdar shuts down, you have to fall back on towndar. and we've all done that to various degrees in this game. YOU included.

Has mort not shown up today at all?

yes she is, to some degree. She's a relatively new player so her game has been changing fast. One thing that I used to notice about her town game was how cagey and paranoid she was. I haven't been noticing that lately. but she is one player that almost never pings town to me when she is town.
