Yes, delivered slowly.

A day is several times longer than the half hour/hour it takes to download a movie.
And, at the end of the day, you keep the movie you downloaded.

Twelve seconds is a long time to wait for my movie now?

As I said, get out of the early half of last decade. Steal if you want to, just don't complain when you get caught and don't complain companies don't like you, and definitely don't complain that the services you are not paying for are inadequate when you have no idea at all what they do and clearly have done no research into legitimate ways to obtain content.

Oh look at you. You don't even know what you're talking about now. It's great.

No I don't. People like me do not get fined because we're not idiots - we encrypt all network traffic from our machines and tunnel it through a secure channel to a remote server where it is distributed to the interwebz.

Smart pirates.. who'da thunk it?

Ah. And you're doing this because it's simpler and easier than just buying legit?

I call bullshit. There's been plenty of smart thieves throughout the years. Actually, quite a number have been reasonably self-righteous. Granted, most of them have been priests, but we've seen a sharp decline in our clergy in modern times, people who feel entitled to leech off the rest of the populace while believing themselves smarter than the 'sheep' have to find something to do.

Actually, yes it is simpler - but then I know what I'm doing. For a newb it would probably give them an aneurysm just trying to figure out what I'm talking about. At least that's how I account for your post. :smug:

LOL what, you script kiddied a generic named HTTP tunneler from CNET, then tried a proxy for three weeks before you realized that most proxies are used to move information to people operating under repressive regimes and have operating speeds of a few kb/s? So you disabled the proxy and you'd turn off the tunneler too if they let college kids use any torrent ports, so now you pretend the admins can't see your consistent traffic through the port (which they can) or really believe you that you're streaming linux distros through a tunnel (it doesn't even LOOK like port 80 traffic). But you know what secure is supposed to look like?

Or are you one of those poor fools who is actually paying those Swedish prisoners for their 'high speed anonymous tunneling client' instead of paying the people who worked long and hard to bring you the content you enjoy?

I am glad your arrogance has a way to account for people who realize how hollow it is. It should help your long-term self esteem :D

You don't have the first clue what you're talking about.

Look up SSL Tunneling and come back and talk to me.

PS. Didn't I already say I'm downloading at 2MBps (That's megabytes, not megabits)? You must not be paying attention - well except to your e-peen. Is it growing?

Oh I'm sorry, it's not http tunneling, it's https tunneling. How very advanced of you. That important distinction makes me completely change my opinion of you. You realize any legit https stream has burst communication in the 10s of kilobits range. Not steady 2 MBps 24/7 streams. And network admins get to see these, right? If your college lets you stay online with that going on, they're morons, which doesn't excuse your behavior, of course. And your plausible deniability is exactly zero.

As for your 2 MBps proxy, there is no such thing as a free, consistently online, and legal 2 MBps proxy setup, meaning you're either paying money or breaking other laws (laws you DON'T want to break).

And all so you don't have to pay the people who make the music you like to listen to, the movies you like to watch, and the games you like to play. What evil people, trying to make fun video games, lets make sure not to give them any money.

 believe what you like. I'm not here to educate you and I'm certainly not here to impress you.

As far as the "morality" of it goes, I already said I don't care. The rich must help the poor.
