^^ eta I downplayed that on day 1 and almost didn't mention it at all because I was concerned that one of the specials that we *do* have would overreact. IMO the assassins are scum-hunting. Callan reacted strongly to Feck's execution choice and results, and she was popped off. Charlou's lower participation was noticed by a couple people yesterday and she was popped off.

I think town and especially the kings need to consider whether every little thing they notice about other players needs to be called out, given the direction scum appear to be taking.

callan, I dunno, except that her scumdar looked pretty good in the carnivale game. charlou, maybe to both prevent her eventually getting a shot at king, and to improve their own odds of being chosen by the kingmaker.

suddenly it's not special hunting, it's that callan has good scumdar and to prevent charlou becoming king (?)

LOL, in the early days I always assumed she was scum and I got her killed off. So much so that I felt bad about it. Then she had a run of being scum while I was giving her a free pass.

I think getting her to post some more is a good idea, although she is very consistent in her posting, no matter her role. This is where we need a damn seer. After you, I'd be putting her under the seer's gaze.

I usually sledge people who tend to skate under the radar until I feel like I have a read. mantis is just too nice to sledge, though.

I don't think I'm being opaque though. I'm just gathering info. Zig made a fuss about the no town talk thing, yet he fos'ed Denny -- pretty early on. That looks good on him. The same that it looks good that you managed to catch Denny and have him executed. So you 2 are looking townish, but there's still the minor doubts.

Mort looks like her usual self too. She's a tough one to read as well. She usually sounds pretty happy & optimistic in her posts... no matter if she's scum or town.

gib, do you really think it's a good idea for me to expound on play-characteristics that I think might indicate a kingmaker or a hero? I can make arguments based on my subjective ideas of what those players might do or give away in-thread and I could be wrong or I could be telling scum stuff I hope they don't know or haven't figured out. those issues aside, there were regular-mafia reasons why those two might be targeted. Charlou is like me in some ways, even if town is suspicious of her, scum may think they're better off without her in the game. Or, as irre suggested of Callan and as Feck suggested of Charlou, they may have looked like the hero or the kingmaker.
