FOS Denny for only looking at oblivion's list and not doing his own scum hunting.
actually, Morticia made a post early today

While I see where Zigmen is coming from with the staying quiet it does not benefit town much if everyone does so. Assassins can just hide out that way. If everyone chooses to post wisely and not make fluffy and/or otherwise useless posts it shouldn't create too much clutter in the thread and will give Oblivion much more to work with then Feck had.
It was the first post after Ghat's op.

if we're FoSing people for not doing their own scum hunting, you'd nudge up the list, hmm? You didn't read mort's post in this thread, even though it made good sense, and you FoS me for doing a summary? I have done them before as town, you know. Are you going to stick to derivative analysis?

Ah yes ... I see she has taken her own advice and not cluttered the thread with any further fluffy, useless posts ...

So a each day, focussed on oblivion and zigmen's views re participation ... I wonder if there will be some analysis of the other players views and actions from Mort ... ?
Re Feck's kill yesterday, my impression is that Feck didn't realise how much time there actually was left in the day, and that his hurry to kill before he went to bed may have been based on a desire to avoid being lynched for not killing someone before the game's nightfall. Only at that point there was something like 17 hours left in the day, I think?

feck put the kill in at somewhere between 1 am and 2 am his time. He didn't think he would wake up in time for the end of the day.
I can relate to that concern. I'm not sure if I will post my decision in 5 hours or so, or if I'll set my clock and see if I can wake up before 24 hours have elapsed.

Just catching up...I am torn between Zigmen and Gib right now. Zigmen made a comment earlier that could have been special hunting when he commented about he NK's. I'm still waiting for an explanation on that one from him. Gib appears very reactive to me. As for the rest of the suggested lynches,
Feck, although he made a bad choice, he ultimately appears town to me. If he is not he took one hell of a risk by ending the game day like he did.
Ani appears as obnoxious as ever, which is normal for town game.
Oblivion, why do you think Irre is special hunting?

Are you talking about this post:
Zigmen wrote:The lack of night action leads me to believe that we should keep on our path of killing to absent and low posters.
I thought that a bit strange, but then realised he was probably referring to night chat .. of which there was little.

I did mean that post. Sorry I should have quoted it. That's why I am waiting for him to clarify. It doesn't appear to me that he was referring to night chat, there was night chat. It appears he was referring to actual night actions, meaning the night actions of specials. That's my take on it.

That would be strange as the only night actions in this game are those of the kingmaker and the assassins. There are no other specials to look for afaik.

That was exactly my thought when I read it. It seems Zigmen didn't read up on the game rules. He has made a few comments like that so far.

I'm caught up. Irre, what's up with your posts?
I'm not the Hero, so don't fear you may be killing the special if you off me.
I still think Gib looks good for the lynch, but Irre's in close second.
Denny is pinging as well- BWing and supposing my game is close to my normal scum game. Seems too chummy with the lynch-Zig movement for me to not mention.

I should clarify .. there are no other specials with night actions. The hero seems to be a special, though how it works is not clear to me ... From the wiki:
You are the Hero of the village! After a long campaign of fighting dragons in distant lands and having sex with beautiful princesses after you rescue them from those dragons, you've returned to your hometown to retire. The town loves you and will fight fiercely to make sure you are not executed! In fact, if the King decides to kill you, the village will rise up in protest of the corrupt King and kill him instead! However, this ability isn't very useful if you're not executed, so you should probably stay quiet about what you can do. Also, Assassins will likely try and kill you above anyone else, so that's another good incentive to stay quiet. Once revealed as the Hero, you may not become King of the realm. You win with the VILLAGE!
How does the town fiercely protect a hero they don't even know the identity of?

Wait .. is it ... if the king decides to kill the hero, the hero can out and the villagers then kill the king? What advantage does that serve? It gains the hero time .. but then the assassins know his identity. But why would the assassins need to kill the hero specifically? It's not like the hero has any special scum hunting power ...
Tell me if I have it wrong because the hero role seems odd .. a bit of a red herring?

My take on it is that the hero is like a bomb, so s/he can kill the king (which would be handy if the king were scum.. something we shouldn't forget can happen).
Zigmen, re what's my posts? I don't know what you mean. You're the one all over the shop. And yes, I did think you might be the hero, so I was trying to warn oblivion to that possibility. I don't see how that is special hunting, though.
