Re: Kingmaker day two
I'm seriously considering getting ScienceRob if he doesn't show up and if Ghat doesn't indicate he'll get a substitute. I hate "wasting" a kill on no shows, but I also hate having unknown quantities around late in the game. The other folks I'm considering are ... shit I started listing them and it's more than half the players.

Re: Kingmaker day two
We haven't heard much from Charlou either.
Re: Kingmaker day two
Charlou hasn't been on all day - hmmm.
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.
Re: Kingmaker day two
charlou is usually asleep at this time of day. she's one of the reasons I am not in a hurry.
Re: Kingmaker day two
She's usually pretty chatty in these games but her profile shows she's not been posting much these last couple of days. Bearing in mind she averages over 30 posts a day then this looks to me like she's not able to get to the computer much atm.Mantisdreamz wrote:We haven't heard much from Charlou either.
That doesn't make her town of course.

Welcome, Ziggy

Can someone please translate this from the Zigmen?Zigmen wrote:The lack of night action leads me to believe that we should keep on our path of killing to absent and low posters.

Re: Kingmaker day two
I've been following where I can and offered to sub in when SR was a no show.
My observations are limited to:
Feck's execute order was naive at best, not necessarily scummy.
Zigmen's not wanting town to talk is perverse.
Gib was persistant in pursuing zigmen on this, which is fairly townish.
Ani/Jynx is up to his usual tryx.
Imho, the day should run for as long as is feasible for the king concerned. Feck stopped it really abruptly.
I think it unlikely that either Feck or Zigmen are scum. All scum have to do is jolly along and make some telling observations to blend in. I'm not really up to speed with the whole psychology of this game yet.
I've got 20 more minutes then I'm gone for the day. (Back in around 10 hours)

Re: Kingmaker day two
It's a complete flip-flop from his earlier position that town should stay quiet. He is now saying it's scum who would be quiet.gib wrote:Can someone please translate this from the Zigmen?Zigmen wrote:The lack of night action leads me to believe that we should keep on our path of killing to absent and low posters.
I don;t agree. I think scum would be very nervous about staying quiet in this game and Oblivion is right to put the frighteners on low posters because they are most likely town. They need to get in the game.

Re: Kingmaker day two
Well, if we look at it within the context of his own lynch votes (oblivion, gib) then it all hangs togethergib wrote:Can someone please translate this from the Zigmen?Zigmen wrote:The lack of night action leads me to believe that we should keep on our path of killing to absent and low posters.

Nope, I have no clue about it..

Re: Kingmaker day two
re was some merit in Feck not flagging how or when he would cide his execute action. I just don't think it was the best plan.
A vote is a good one. I don't have a standout as yet.
crosspost with gib.
I really don't know who I'd vote for at this stage. Maybe Mono. But I'd have to check back to why I have that as a gut feeling more than anything. I haven't re-read since coming on board.

Re: Kingmaker day two
the thing with mono is, he's not contributed at all... easy thing for scum to do, but it's how he's played the last few games
Re: Kingmaker day two
IMO both mono and Mort have had nothing of substance to say. That one post, saying that both Zigmen and I were making sense when we were urging opposite courses and voting/fosing each other seriously pinged.irretating wrote:the thing with mono is, he's not contributed at all... easy thing for scum to do, but it's how he's played the last few games
so did the comment by Irre that if zig is scum, then I am probably not.

I'm also acutely aware that Oblivion survived night 1 and the wifom implications of that.
Callan looked to be a potential thorn in scum's side and had form for being able to pick them.
