Meh, can't be arsed to read it properly but I see the reports been done by the Parents Television Council which if I remember correctly made a big fuss not long ago about the stars from Glee being featured in provocative poses - in a freaking adults magazine when they're all nearly fucking 30 and Glee is hardly a kids show anyway
I've never watched the other two shows but have watched Glee and to be honest its more realistic than alot of crap, they've chucked the lot in, gays, cripples, fat kids, sluts, frigid virgins, all with the 'be yourself and it'll all be ok' message run right through the middle of it
In fact I find glee is too conservative - the two girls that put out, ones a bitch no one likes and the other got pregnant and gave her baby away. (Havve I just admitted I watch Glee?)
High School Musical on the other hand - I watched the first two about 3 years ago (I have a valid excuse) - is not something I'd choose for my girls to watch, as far as I can remember everyone was pretty and perfect and talented.

Men! They're all beasts!
Yeah. But isn't it wonderful?

The PTC? You mean the show that consistently criticized Buffy, and the most famous of the idiotic reactionary Christian shit in America?
They've never been able to understand the difference between condoning and displaying, and between characters with flaws that we sympathize with and endorsing the flaws of the sympathetic characters.

I think there is something in this story. Padded bras for nine year olds? High heels for 6 year olds? FFS!
