There's nothing in the rules against that, so what's your problem? There's a whole lot of people saying I should do what they tell me to do. I find that amazingly optimistic.

You can do as you like, but one of the reasons to report a post is that it is "off topic" or a "personal attack." Name calling, such as calling someone a troll might be considered a personal attack, and calls for banishment of a person on a thread about whether god exists seems quite off-topic. So, it may well be you that is in violation of the rules. Maybe a moderator will chime in on that and clarify.

Trolling isn't against the rules, so calling someone a troll isn't against the rules, because it's not a bad thing.
