In light of Ghat's decision, I'm changing my vote to Morticia since all she's done is make promises that she hasn't delivered upon and regardless of her affiliation she's not been any use to town.

UNVOTE

VOTE MORT

I noticed this as well. Irre also doesn't seem as engaged as usual.
Er mono, you DID notice I went through Day 1 with a fine tooth comb and posted my analysis, yes? :what:

Higgs, yes I asked a couple of questions that made me go 'doh' later. I'm thrown by this night 0 stuff (never had it before) and the fact that this seems to be a recruitment game. Still, it doesn't make me scummy.

Glogbott... ok it all seems too weird. I'm prepared to
unvote googlebot vote mort

because it might get her providing some input.

I'm inclined to think the prostitute is a scum prostitute. BUT... people making claims can make fake claims. So, mono and squid are not cleared.

I'd like to hear from MZ and UT.

Is everyone OK with charlou's explanation of her role BTW? Even for an oblivion game, this is unusual.

This is what I have:

higgs2: no read
Mononoke: scummy as hell. Very cock sure.
Morticia: scummy to the max, talk about hiding a scum vote. I gave her the benefit of the doubt yesterday. My vote stays.
DennyB: townish
Charlou: claimed town role - but vanilla: townish
Ghat: ?????wtf
gib: no read
Animavore: claimed he is unrecruitable, made himself a target. I think town. Could be lying.
Callan: townish; attracting votes which I find interesting.
Uselesstwit: no read.
Irre: has made the most detailed day 1 summary. some confusion over night 0: Has bee cleared by Charlou via zigmen view!
MZ: a lot of analysis over Mantis role. I thought it was important to understand it. Others may disagree.
The Curious Squid: Noob, coached and a little scummy tbh

The Irre clearance is interesting. Zig suspected enough to view. I'm keeping an eye on that.
Ghat's whole dummy spit still has him as town. It's very strange.
Ani's claim is worrying if true. If recruitment was an option of scum, I hope it's been taken out with the demise of Mantis.

So I would eliminate the following from a vote today. Charlou, Ani, Irre, Ghat.

My vote stays on Morticia.

Posting limited today. I have end of term festivities to attend to.
This may be the last you here from me before nightfall unless I get a peak in about 4-5 hours.

I wasn't OK with it but seeing you question her even after she pronounced you town is making me think that you're town and makes her less likely to be scum but still not cleared in my mind. I'm still not sure about Mono but I'm also siding towards town with him/her now too because I hadn't mentioned what was in my PM when he announced that he had a similar one at the start of the day, if he was scum being targeted by a town trait I doubt he'd talk about it in public. As you said though, people can lie and so from now on I don't see it as being a safe way to judge who is/isn't town.

Even with Ghat's request to be subbed I still think he's scum, he could just be trying to cover for whoever takes his place, if he really wanted out of the game then he could have just left things as they were, he was set to be lynched and the game would have continued normally, now he's just added more confusion.

I'm keeping with Morticia for now though, if she's not scum she has been useless as town.

Hold on, I've just had a thought.

Mono, which character are you?

Okay I think I'm caught up now. Callan has tried to hide votes on both days, she was in the scum 3/4 position yesterday and it looked like a bw jump to me today as well.
Mort definitely is not playing her full strength game.
ghat I think needs a break but his asking to be subbed out doesn't do anything for me to figure out his alignment.
the charlou thing is interesting, basically it gives us a chance for an extra view when the seer dies. Could very well see that in an oblivion game. I'm going to take her word for now, and also consider irre is probable town as well.

The thing that is really standing out for me is why the hell any blocker would go after squid on night 0? The only thing I can think of is scum seeing if there is a message from the block, but that really doesn't hold water in light of his outing it in the PG.

Yet another summary that i broadly agree with (although i think Squid seems townish, for now.)These summaries can't all be written by scum so Occam says we're on to something here.

if Mort and/or Mono are not scum then i will hang up my mafia hat in shame. Personally i'd rather go for Mono, but the consensus seems to be to take out Mort today so i'll happily go with that.

Vote Mort

Callan is playing a different game, for sure. As she was scum last time this might be her ratz-style town game.

glogbot I'm thinking is town. I really doubt he'd screw a game as scum like he has.

re the going after Squid night 0.... to my mind, only a ratz friend would consider blocking him on his very first game before the game had even begun. Feck is dead and wasn't a blocker, so the list is quite short after that. I don't want to name names in case it was a town blocker who did it.

Gib can I just point out that your posts are almost too agreeable... you might be an extremely agreeable type, or this might be a trying-to-look-helpful scum tactic

I'll agree about gib, it always makes me nervous when someone is following others around rather than doing their own thing.

Right now I think my most scummy pick is higgs. She's been very concerned about technicalities rather than players and that often is her scum game. She brought up the masons out of nowhere and tried what looks like to muddy the waters about mantis. She's also voted for ghat two days in a row now even though he didn't do anything today. It seems an awful lot of info today to ignore to chase down someone asking for a sub.

I'm certainly not an agreeable type. Far from it.

But i do think it's meaningful when i see so many people that i had listed as townish who are saying pretty much what i'm thinking.

I'm not sure if I will be back before end of day.

I don't know what to think of Ghat's "bad mood". WTF, Thats not town play or frankly, not good scum play either!

Top of my list as of now is:
Morti
Mono
Callan
??Ghat??
Auspicious Curmudgeon
