Yep that's why I said I'm not sure rather than cursing about Merkin imperialism .
CES If I say I'm not sure it's because I'm not sure OK ! I made no argument in that post about an illegal war ,If you read my post earlier in the thread I did say that the US actions in Pakistan are probably illegal but implied that they are justifiable in fact it was the second post in this thread .
also you may think everybody thinks about nothing else than democrat Vs republican (god knows you post enough on the subject) but it wasn't in my mind when I said there was 'some difference' . And to be fucking honest when I make a post full of 'I'm not sure ' 'I don't know if ' and You reply with not only an attack on things I did not say but assume a position and motive for me that suits your Hostility ,then I can't be bothered . In general when someone argues badly ignores what I actually say and gets angry I tend to find my opinions drifting further from theirs .
Fair enough. I made assumptions about your position based on other posts I've read of yours - my assumption was that you had previously said that the Afghan war was illegal. If you didn't, I apologize. I also asked the question about your opinion being colored by the name of the President because it quite often seems that many folks excuse conduct now that they would have strenuously objected to 2 years ago. If that isn't you, then I apologize. I shouldn't have assumed.

how hard was that?
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Alright - I've never heard of U.S. run terrorist training camps at these places.
Let's take one, and you can educate me - Diego Garcia - when did the US run a terrorist training camp on the British owned island of Diego Garcia? I did some basic googles on it - but didn't come up with anything. Would you help me out?
This is Diego Garcia
If the US was running a training camp on that British owned island, it would be impossible to miss. So, I'm wondering when this occurred, who were the terrorists, and what happened to them?

Oh, military bases are "terrorist training camps," gotcha - I didn't realize you were engaging in sophistry. Thanks for clarifying.

I'm admitting ignorance about it. Sandinista said there was a US run terrorist training camp there. I didn't realize he meant that any US military base is terrorist training camp. Must look out more for fatuous nonsense....

There shall be
signs and portents of such.

Not sophistry at all. Same thing, only "bases" are better funded.
