DP, Feck said he wouldn't out because he didn't know what the sub-plot was. As you have pointed out I would be the one who needs protection not Homer. So I am wondering what his reasons would be not to out if he was Homer.

I think DP is playing his classic scum game, which is to lay low, pop in just to make sure the heat is off him, plus appearing helpful (crackpot ideas) whilst not actually being helpful. I don't know if this is the way to search out scum... by actually characters. But, so far we have had Mr. Burns and Nelson. So, it seems like a good way.
