Worth noting that DP never pinged for me but still ended up way down the list of probable townsters.
I'm never a likely town player, I had a run of scum games up until recently, and even when I'm town, I don't seem to be pro-town. It's a bit of a catch-22.
It may actually be a good idea to lynch me today since it will force the players who are intent on insisting I'm scum to actually start scum hunting tomorrow. I'm more of a hindrance to town at the moment while I'm alive.
I've actually been wondering the same thing - if it would benefit town if I were lynched soon, since it doesn't look like I'm going to be nightkilled.
You, Feck, Irre, and me, still in the game. We're all likely early NKs. That suggests to me that whoever is scum thinks that leaving the likely NKs in might give them some cover.
so what's happened is exactly what you would do if you were leading the scum team?
When I'm scum, if possible I like to kill people before they get suspicious of me. And I like to leave people who sorta trust me alive. I do try to find and kill specials, though. When I am scum, I try to play every day with my desired endgame in mind - which town players I'd like to have alive on the final day. It's not usually possible to orchestrate that completely, but it probably is one of the hallmarks of my scum game.
So far, the kills aren't telling me much about what sort of endgame scum want. Maybe due to the extra kill.
Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

that doesn't look like a day kill to me. I'm assuming it's a godkill unless we're told otherwise.
I need to reread her posts, but my impression is that Callan had a cone of silence around feck and ani. Is she the sort of scum player who ignores her teammates in the game thread?
