oblivion, you've left feck alone all game.. any reason, hmm? And, you're letting UT have a smooth ride, too. How come no FoS on him for still being around?

FoS Irre. The fact that scum left her alone yesterday, despite the possibility she could clear some more players is odd. In retrospect, MZ did drop some special tells, but it's still odd to me that Irre wasn't targeted.
BTW I have said I can't clear any more players.
And you think scum would assume that's true?

well, anyway, looking back at MZ's posts yesterday I can see why he stood out as a possible seer. Which lowers my suspicion of you.

It's still curious to me that you immediately leaped on Ani in this game for essentially the same behavior that you tried to protect in the boy bands game.

I voted ani just briefly at the start of the game, to poke him with a stick, to see how he'd react. I too wondered if he was a special, hence I'm not going to vote him. But he's not being very helpful to town.

Irre, I've been worried about pressuring specials to out. and as I said yesterday, I seem to be spotting town behaviors better than scum behaviors this game. Feck and DP both have been quiet. Feck in particular hasn't scum hunted to the degree I've seen him do in the past. OTOH he hasn't come under much pressure either, so it's been easy to fade into the background. DP's play looks more townish to me.

UT seems to be picking up on what I think are genuine pings, which doesn't necessarily mean he's town, but it does make it easier for someone to blend in with town.

I need to rethink and reread based on now knowing who the doc and the seer were. The players I was trying not to pressure too much yesterday were Ani, Irre, MZ and UT. Irre, you're on that list simply because I don't know what to make of your role. It appears to be a real boon to town and a potential game unbalancer.

As a boon, it hasn't panned out so far. town has gotten fucking hammered. Two days, two nights, and 3 town specials dead - two by lynch.

We need to get our act together.

Good Q, mantis.

I wonder if callan can explain away her anti-MZ stance...

What are your thoughts on Callan?
I thought Callan's post at the end of yesterday was very suspicious, as I said. Overall her style of play sets off alarms, though. Compared to most people at ratz, and at TR, she's overly dramatic and plays up the paranoia. I know ratskep games tend to be over the top as far as the role playing and posturing go, though.

Subtracting out the style-based alarms, her post right after nightfall still pings, though.

You have played with her in the past? What do you make of her?

I know she can fixate early on and then trolley track. Hence I'm not phased that she's like a terrier at me this game. She likes to come up with lists of suspects, and be secretive in sharing out those lists. She's never invited me into her confidence in a mafia game. I get the impression that she can be insightful but she can also get things really wrong (like all of us).

I'm just going to start with callan. she plays a very emotional game and locks onto people early. I've seen her lynch uncontested seers who had found scum for town because they weren't playing town enough. I really have no idea how to read her scum game, both her scum and town games are all over the place.

mantis, I outed my item yesterday as the pacifier, I'm maggie, don't see how that will help but there it is. I actually held onto that because I didn't want scum to look for specials that way after our busdriver was the busdriver and our doc the doc.

I'm starting to agree with oblivion about the items thing. If it works the way irre says that would mean 4 clear townies with a simple outing, one of which is the seer. That seems really unbalancing if that's the way it works.

Callan was throwing the typical righteous town fit many people at ratskep throw and get away with, mostly because they belong to the confirmed town cabal. I have no idea why she thought that type of act would amount to anything here.

I also think there should be 4 scum because of the higher number of players and the powerful role Irre has

What do I make of her?

I was suspicious at the beginning of her, but I thought it was just because we hadn't seen much of her.

Her post pinged with me as well.

I will be back in later time too. I'm falling asleep at the keyboard.

I'm really starting to wonder about irre. I get everything about the items and who they belong to, but why does ned have a list of items for other townsfolk?

also a fos on oblivion for perking up so very quick after the lynch vote was settled yesterday.
