That would be me, I think. I'm going to re-read both day's thread, do some analysis and publish it here.gib wrote:Users browsing this forum: gib and 1 guest

Re: Simpsons Day 2
Explain what? I wish to share all that I can before day 3 starts. I haven't been using a spreadsheet so far, but I think I need one now.gib wrote:Care to explain?irretating wrote:That would be me, I think. This forum is guest and bot free ... the guest you see will be someone who has clicked on an external link to this forum .. they will have a message notifying them they can't access the forum, though.gib wrote:Users browsing this forum: gib and 1 guest
irre, it wouldn't be you .. hidden browsers don't show up as guests.

I had an indie mason group in a game design recently, who had to find an item that another player possessed.

OK it's not me showing up as the guest. As to why I prefer to be a hidden browser, it's due to personal privacy reasons. I am fully aware charlou and dp (and any staffer) can see me online... I don't do it for mafia-related reasons.gib wrote:i'm curious to know why someone - irre - prefers to log in as a guest/hidden browser.Feck wrote:and ?gib wrote:Users browsing this forum: gib and 1 guest

irre always does this, whether playing Mafia or not. So does UT.
There's nothing sinsister to be read into it.
Re: Simpsons Day 2
It's a common feature on forums ... Members can login as 'hidden' and browse the forums without being seen by other members. That is their prerogative, IMO. Admins can see them though. I can assure you that I don't abuse this privilege of seeing hidden browsers by using it to my or my team's advantage during mafia games. I don't speculate on why players choose to be hidden. Sometimes I login as hidden so I can catch up on the game at my leisure without being hounded to post something the minute I'm seen online.gib wrote:What do you mean by hidden browser?Charlou wrote:This forum is guest and bot free ... the guest you see will be someone who has clicked on an external link to this forum .. they will have a message notifying them they can't access the forum, though.gib wrote:Users browsing this forum: gib and 1 guest
