Re: Simpsons Day 2
I'm willing to buy Ob's story at this point. I don't think she will lie about the stress of having to talk to someone suicidal.
Gallstones is a good a bandwagon as any but, my concern is that it's getting way too easy for scum to hop onto it at this point.

Oblivion, do you have a jester role?oblivion wrote:I made it because it looked like a small part of what irre was keying into. If I can see some of the components, so can scum. Ani.
He needs to post more. and it needs to be substantive.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
Oblivion, your play, RL aside, has been anti-town.
Attempting to break into Irre's list of cleared players confuses and is therefore scummy.
It was so transparent that is more likely a deliberate ploy to get lynched rather than a scum move.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
I thought about it a while MZ. And I made it clear I was not trying to break into the list. I said that I had no basis for breaking in. I reiterate - That's a small piece of the pattern I think I was seeing. And if I can see it, so can scum.
Re: Simpsons Day 2
Also, I don't think I've played anti-town. I tried pretty hard yesterday to keep irre from getting lynched.
Re: Simpsons Day 2
^^ and I have been supporting players that I think are town irrespective of what they think about me.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
This is the first time I've really seen you on the back foot, if you'll excuse the cricket analogy.
I think it would have been much better to get a sub.
You have confused us all with bringing RL issues into the game, which I have no doubt are true.
I still think you should get a sub. You are not yourself.
I don't think you should be worrying about a game right now.

I'm not sure what to make of morticia this game. Normal is starting to make fewer town noises, it's like he's waiting around for a town bandwagon to ride.
I unvoted feck because feck indicated he was town.
As to my list and how I'm clearing people, I don't want to say too much until everyone has had a chance to make some indication.
Chalk that up to my sense of game ethics.I am town.

It didn't come across like that on the first read.

I'm fine. I'm not going to turn this over for someone else to try and dig out of.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
There is no secret handshake. My guess is Irre is Apu. She has maybe "sold" a few items to town and therefore knows their town alignment by the item they each hold. In my role pm, i was told that I held an item. I signalled that to Irre. I didn't know why she needed to know, so I cloaked it fairly well. Only she would know.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
Given DP tried to gain favour in the same way, what is your read on DP? That question is open to everyone of course.
Re: Simpsons Day 2
grandpa lives in a nursing home. I don't think he does a lot of shopping at Apu's convenience store.
As far as DP goes, like me, he may not have known whether irre could recognize him for town or not and wanted to put something out there for her just in case. it's kind of a natural reaction for town. If I were scum, I would tend to hang back and watch at first. Instead, I posted my character name, which is something I don't ordinarily do this early in a game, certainly not without some lynch pressure.
